Creating Cockpit wingview LOD
-
Hi all,
I’m quite new in the area of LOD editing .
I would like to learn how to create cockpitwingmodel on my own : I want to retrofit a C-160 (I’m planning to do it on a basis of a C-160.dat + a A-10 pit ); I only lack a wingview for my hybrid . I looked into the ccctw toybox (:bowd: ) , but I only found a C-212 LOD . While a C-212 wingview would be quite nice imo , I couldn’t find it : it’s only a LOD for the entire plane .
So I’m asking to myself how to do it ; learning this would allow me to recreate virtually all plane by myself and I would become auto-sufficient for doing my retrofits .
Could someone point me to the right direction ? It would be greatly appreciated .
Regards,

Wow !!!
I got lucky !
I just made my 1st Wingview lod !!! Just need to lower the wings a bit , but I did it , thanks to the wingview lod provided by ccctw : I just had to look at a lod already done , and try to mimic this example : quite long to do(erase the CP I didn’t need , one by one ) , but it’s done !!!
Now I have a quite good Transall ; all right , with C-212 wings because working from a low poly is way more faster , but it’s looking good and it’s a very promising start
Good flights everyone !

1st Airmobile mission with my retrofitted C-160 .
Landed on a portion of a road in a small town North of Seoul . We will pick up friendlies and drop provision near the DMZ .
So good !!! but quite dangerous (finding a spot to land isn’t that easy at all , and there are enemies around . Glad the planes loads Chaff and Flares …
