X52 POV HAT issue, view keeps panning
-
Hi, I have an issue with programming my controls for the X52.
I was thinking that I use the X52 software to map the key commands of BMS to the different buttons I want to use, because I want to make use of the sticks functionality of having several commands mapped to the button and being able to turn the settings wheel or use the shift function.
So I removed all assignments I didn’t need from the BMS Controller configuration, but when I am in the cockpit and use the controls for trim and the normal view panning, which I have laid on POV2 and POV1 with the shift function, the trim runs to the end and the view keeps panning around. It is like the sim recognizes the key press but not the release and therefore it won’t stop the input.
What can I do to “deconfigure” the joystick buttons from BMS?I have found in the forums that you can add this to your config file to kind of unmap the buttons:
SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 1 0x0 0 SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 2 0x0 0 SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 3 0x0 0 SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 4 0x0 0 SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 5 0x0 0 SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 6 0x0 0 SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 7 0x0 0 SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 8 0x0 0
But for me it doesn’t work.
Any help appreciated. -
i have same issue with the mouse stick on x-52 pro. when i use stick to pan radar cursor up for example, and then release stick… it keeps panning up until it hits range limit 160m. Any other direction used on the mini-stick will set the radar cursor running in that direction even when I release the stick. Guess need to look into adding a release (key up) event on in the progamming profile to see if that fixes it.?!
