What can you do besides flying to improve campaign outcome

It’s easy for a casual player to think of BMS campaign as a random mission generator. But of course it is much more than that. What can you do in campaign besides flying that helps your side win?

1. Don’t let the HQ control the frag of the missions, control the mission generation with the priorities sliders and adjust them according to the situation and the requirements to win.
2. Take control of the ground troops and lead them to capture the required objectives in order to win the campaign.
3. If you take control from the HQ and you are not satisfied with the generated missions, frag your own missions on your preferred targets. -

Right click on the unit and uncheck the set by HQ box. Left click on the unit and move the circle where you want the unit to go.

You can also move (some) ground units with Air Mobile missions. For example, in the stock Korea Rolling Fire campaign, Patriot battalions are defending way to the south. You can move them forward to more important/active areas.

the ground troops move well when youre in their sphere of influence in the 3d world. I create columns in 2d, when it gets to be time I put a CAS package on top of them and frag some shock and awe.
Roll in with plenty of gas, put a tanker nearby. Help them by destroying high value targets stay in the area for as long as po9ssible and they move a lot, find targets, and cause the maximum amount of chaos.

many years ago, rumor said moving ground units by hand will lead to unexpected sequence.
but i don’t have proper method to check it. -
