This is the bit I’m referring to:
-
@parislord Hahaha,
I will add them, of course.
In Japanese, you have :
強迫性障害, for Kyo haku seisho gai, for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
ニッチピッキング, for Nitchipikingu, for Nitpicking
取り憑かれてる, for Tori tsukare teru : ObsessionalIn Japanese, people would noever use a word with 肛門 (anal), in common language !
For example, 糞, Kuso, which means shit, is extremely more impolite than it is in English, French or German for example. Shit, merde (or putain in this case) and Scheiße are rather common, People will never use such vocabulary in Japan, exept if you are drunk or a Yankee (name for gang people in Japan) or a Yakuza.
Cheers,
Radium

Just out of curiosity: why would a Yakuza member necessarily use more coarse language than another person? Would it be socially considered “tough guy” talk (e.g. “GI” talk idiom from the 40’s).
-
@parislord Because Yakuza have their slang which is known to be coarser than regular Japanese.
