Vipergear ICP Wheel acceleration on "Falcon Setup GUI" Axis's. 4.35
-
Trying to use my Vipergear ICP wheels to change:
- Altimeter and HSI Course Knobs
- The HSI deflects about ten tics and the Alt about 5.
- Both of those need a little more precision than that.
- Using Falcon Setup GUI to assign Axis to each Wheel
Anyone here know how to manipulate the Axis x1 x5 acceleration and calm these things down?
Maybe I should use these lines in the key-file instead~
SimRetUp 116 0 0x4E 6 0 0 1 “ICP: DEPR RET Wheel - Step Up”
SimRetDn 116 0 0x4A 6 0 0 1 “ICP: DEPR RET Wheel - Step Down”……to get a 1x1 advancement/Decrement or are these only able to be assigned to DX buttons and not Axis’s?

Hello!
I think you have to assign BMS setup!
top left corner is SYM, HUD brightness (y axis)
DEPR RET, upper right (z axis).
BRT brightness, lower left wheel, controls the FLIR brightness on the HUD, use this wheel to display the FLIR image on the HUD, its effect will only be noticed when the FLIR is operational(axis x).
DRIFT c/o is a three position switch, with a momentary position for WARM RESET. The upper and middle positions manage the DRIFT of the flight path marker according to the winds. The center position labeled NORM takes the winds into account and allows the FPM to swerve to the side according to side winds, giving you a visual indication of the beta angle, side skidding against the wind.
I hope that’s it! -

Which callbacks are you using ALT and CRS. In BMS you could configure them in multiple ways. But with an axis you might be best to use them with acceleration which is setup through falcon bms.cfg file. So slow movement advance +1 fast movement advance +5 per input

Okay Oaky,
I’m not using callbacks. I am using the Axis Assignments in BMS GUI Setup. I’ll look for acceleration in the cfg file. Maybe soften the +5? Bring it down to +2 would do the trick?Auf Wiedersehen
