Solved Torrent?

New to Falcon, never used a torrent a day in my life. I’m afraid to try it for fear of viruses, and I can’t find any normal download for the client. Searches on this matter just direct me to topics about the torrent. Any Ideas?

qbittorrent is safe and can be trusted, it’s open source and available for multiple platforms. No spyware, no adware, no hidden miners, all good.

I’d usually recommend transmission but the 4.36 torrent is incompatible with this client ATM as transmission has been a bit slow to catch up with the latest features

@Horsefly for Windows 10+ I always recommend using an app from the store, which is sandboxed to only have permission to make network requests and store files into your Downloads folder

Even better. Tixati … just google. No setup/install … unzip and play.

I prefer to stay-away from anything store/gplay… crap. (it’s not software that is crap, but store(s) themselves - long story, need to be old )

@white_fang qbittorrent user here. No issues. Just make sure you get the .torrent file from this website. Getting that from elsewhere = no guarantees it’s legit or safe.

Joke aside, (but “true” joke) , there can’t be anything “wrong” with the torrent file (else then, target download of a virus) /// , just “some” torrent-apps can allow … some data-miners … but those are mostly already “shitlisted”
