Is the no gpu dedicated still working
-
Hello,
I like to know if there is a option for running a dedicated server the way other games are doing there dedicated server stuff. (No 3d just debug console etc)
I have a second pc that have a good enough cpu to run bms but the graphics card is barrely under the limit. For other games its not a big deal. But i cant find a dedicated server thingy anywhere within bms install folder.
I found a website or something thats talking about running bms without any gpu but its a bit confusing to me also my question is is this thing even still working on the new 4.36.3?
I believe in that artical there was a link to something here and or github.
2nd question :
If the above is still working and i get it to work on my second pc.
Is it possible to make a copy of my install on my gaming pc and put in on a stick and putting it on my second pc ? Without having to install everything again?
Edit : this the thing i found but for some reason
Some of the links are to the old website but i have no premission to see it -
@dutchfighter that is very old (4.33) and probably of no value
There is a “stub” DirectX dll that people use, to bypass all 3D rendering, for dedicated servers. Especially for eg. cloud-hosted virtual machines, which cost $ for cpu and ram. But my searching skills are failing me. I can’t remember if it’s on github or just a binary floating around out there…
