Curiosity About 3D models

@petrouvis I personally use blender and substance painter. You can use other 3D software to create the model but rigging and LODs must be done with 3DS.

@Radium Thanks a lot for the reply i think i will continue to use blender but learning 3DsMax is also an option since we use it at our university.Now rigging animations and model interaction i will learn on the long run and through community posts.

@petrouvis I really don’t recommend Blender… it will not allow you to make mechanical systems as nicely as in Sketchup

@Radium So 3Ds Max for the Model and Sketchup for rigging and mechanical systems that would be more preferable? Also thanks for the reply!

Maybe You can use this add-on for it and you can reach both advantages of the cad and blender.
