use the wonderful tool created by mister @Falcas called MC mission commander. there you can see the units and the numbers of the textures that you use on the outside. I already have that subject pending for the textures of the cabin. (haven’t needed it so far) sorry for the delay in responding.

Yes I can find models in Editor that is easy, but it does not show related dds numbers. No where in MC as far as I can find can you look up buildings. My question is how do you find related dds files for a model?

With some workarounds yes. You need to use the 3ddb tool to extract the DB first. That will create a Parents folder. You need to determine the parent number (normal) from the database, using the editor. You can find it in the class table record entry for the object you want. To open Lod Editor you have to browse to the stock Falcon 4.0 terrdata\objects folder and open the HDR file from there. If that is done you can select “open lod” and browse to the parent folder and select the model in the respective model number folder (the one you obtained from the class table). It might be necessary that you need to increase the permissible HDR Node size (250000 should be sufficient). When you have opened the lod you can double click on “0. Root” and you’ll see the dds file numbers assigned to the lod.
