U2 overwrites MyPilotCallsign.pop files?

And d3d11.dsp?
Seems unexpected… didn’t see mention in release notes. Maybe worth a callout in release notes?
It seems not a big deal, just need to reselect my key-file and various sim/graphics options…
and most New Launcher users will probably have their pop file overwritten upon launch anyway…

Launched BMS a second time and my keyfile was in place again.
But sound setup is reset to factory setting. -
@Amadeus75 - Wow. Good catch. All my meticulously test sound levels were all reset to BMS’s default values as well.
It would have been nice to let us know, or even better to not messed with them at all. Good thing I keep equally meticulous notes on all my configs, levels, etc. in a place BMS can not reach!
Let me go change them back to MY preferred levels, now. Thanks for letting me know, Amadeus…
BIG UPDATE:
Wasn’t just the sound levels. It was my keyfile and almost every other setting in the ‘Settings’ section!
I mean, if that was necessary for the update to work right, that’s fine, but somebody really dropped the ball in not letting us know ahead of time.

@airtex2019 yeah, I was surprised when I got in the jet and the buttons and switches weren’t working. I just closed BMS and ran it again and everything was back to normal, except for the UI chatter and other sounds, those needed adjusted

My experience was different. Closing and restarting several times changed nothing.

Delete the BMS - Auto.key
go in the axis in alternative launcher so it reinitiate the writting of the file…
Make sure in BMS it is selected as well…
