VR NeckSafer issues with Pico 4
-
Does anyone have experience with VR NeckSafer? First time I tried VRNS + Steam VR with my Pico 4 it worked perfectly! Even with the default settings (and “autorotation” on). And what a treat it was! But quickly strange things started to happen…
One day it works perfectly, then suddenly it doesn’t for weeks on end.
Sometimes, when I check my six, I am suddenly hovering a few feet outside my pit and can see myself sitting in the pit when I look down. Recentering using the Reset Button fixes the view back to normal. No problem there, but really annoying when in dogfight.
On other occasions it simply doesn’t work and I only see some “glitches” appear where the VRNS was supposed to start working.
And suddenly one day it works perfectly again. The next day it’s FUBAR again for weeks on end. And frankly, this yes/no nonsense is starting to work on my nerves.As the accompanied explication on how VRNS works is very limited, Perhaps one of you can direct me to where I can find a solution?

@Doc0301
I use VRNeckSaver with my Pico 4 and it works totally fine.
In order to avoid being outside of the cockpit you need to center the view in VRNeckSaver.
I have a button binding for that and it is the same that I use in BMS. So both BMS and the VRNeckSaver views are centered. -
But that’s exactly what I do Nevertheless, the same problem keeps on recurring.
Lately I can’t even seem to get it working at all. All I see are some “glitches” where VRNS was supposed to start.The most frustrating thing is that sometimes VRNS suddenly works perfectly (Last I even could toggle it on/of in flight just by using the Reset Button) But that usely only lasts one day and than for weeks on end it’s FUBAR again. And I have no idea why…and THAT is driving me crazy

I get that issue every now and then myself. To get rid of the issue, I have to restart the sim.

@Dracfalcon
I restart Necksaver everytime when I restart the sim.
