Weird behaviour after installing 4.37.3
-
A few days ago I installed 4.73.3 on my pc as a full install. It is installed next to my old 4.33 version, which I keep since it is stable with other software.
In 4.33 my Cougar throttle (with Arduino and MMJoy2) worked perfectly, including Idle and Afterburner settings.
Since installing 4.37.3 something is wrong. Both the AL and BMS itself show the throttle settings as before. When I move the throttle I can see the blue bar moving as it should. No problem. Windows (joy.cpl) shows the throttle working as it should. Done re-calibration to make sure.
But when I go into the game to fly, the throttle has a very weird behavior. Low power starts with afterburner, increasing power will shut off afterburner but still high power. Moving the throttle further starts afterburner again. This happens in 4.37.2 but now also in 4.33.
So from 0% to 100% my actual power goes: AB -> high power - > AB
Any ideas how to fix this?

@SN00PY bug-fix for users of inverted-axis throttle devices =>
https://github.com/chihirobelmo/FalconBMS-Alternative-Launcher/releases/tag/v2.4.1.4Instructions => unzip and run anywhere… AL will use the registry to locate your BMS install location(s).

The problem seems to solved now. I uninstalled 4.37.3 and did a full re-install. Nothing. Then uninstalled and reinstalled once again and now it seems to be working. Don’t know why.
So on to the next problem. I installed the latest version of Israeli theater. Installed okay. When Is start, I get the intro screen and then nothing. Korean theater works okay. Israeli nothing.
Is there something I can/need to see in the crash text file?

@SN00PY You need to wait for it to be released for U3. All U2 theaters are broken for U3 until released for U3.
-
Okay, I thought the Israeli theater was already updated for 4.37.3 as well.
(God, I hate updates… )
Now my main problem is that the game seems to be very slow in response. Flying is okay, but the MFD’s (through RTT) take several seconds before responding. When I try 4.33 they respond instantly.

@SN00PY My RTT MFDs are responding fine. Check your RTT settings in User config.
