cockpit audio
-
I am unable to hear radio communications. I am able to read the green message box but no audio accompanies the text.

your information is a bit thin …
- make sure you have the correct frequencies set for U2 - then press T3 - any response?
- make sure your “comms” knobs are turned up to full.
- can you hear engine noises through your head set?
- make sure you have correct frequencies set for V15 - then request flight to “say stores” - any response.
post more information once you have tried these steps if you still unable to hear radio coms
Hope this helps

What @Ironman53rd said, especially if you have these mapped to an external/physical controller. -
guys,
Yes, in the cockpit all was set properly. I broke out my g35 headset and low and behold the audio came on with the green messaging. I really dont like wearing them while I am relearning everything but if it gets me bye im ok. thank you for your attentions,

You might have Windows set to play BMS audio to a different device/headset. -
Atlas,
I checked in the sound properties management module and both microphone used and audio device were set to default and working properly. I reconnected the headphones and I was hearing again. I think I might have a problem with Windows itself.
Thank you for advising,
