TM F-16 / Cougar Flight STICK-POV speed of movement
-
Hello Pilots
Right off the bat… newbie here… although I flight one of the original F-16 Falcon Sims some 40 years ago… this is a WHOLE new ball of wax for me and would really need some help with a few things. Up to know I have been grateful for all the info I get from all the forums and posted videos… BUT I have come across a need to ask directly for help.OK… issue is - How can I control the speed at which my POV (crosshair on the screen) on my TM Flight stick in order to better control my crosshair when I am trying to Aline my helmet with the HUD. It is an almost impossible task and takes forever. I have tried all of the sensitivity adjustments I could find yet nothing helps.
Grateful for any input or direction to any post or video that might help in this small BUT pain of tasks. Thanks, and regards

@ericveefalconsim try reducing the cursor speed in the falcon bms user. Cfg .
For example set it to half speed : set g_fCursorSpeed 0.5This will reduce the overall cursor speed even on the fcr, hsd, and the tgp. I have mine set for 0.75.

I personally get better results by using the additional Cursor curve options instead of reducing Cursor speed
you can play around by adding these to your Falcon BMS User.cfg an play with the values
set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 80 // Axis exponential curve. Should be in 0 - 100 range. 0 is disabled (default)
set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 50 // Axis saturation. Should be in 0 - 99 range. 0 is disabled (default)
set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_X 80 // Axis exponential curve. Should be in 0 - 100 range. 0 is disabled (default)
set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_X 50 // Axis saturation. Should be in 0 - 99 range. 0 is disabled (default)
other than that would be to use joystickGremlin and adding curves to those axis -
@danaos75 …will give that a try… thanks for the reply. Will let you know when its set.
