Hi, i have the same rudder pedals but cant get them to work in bms with the target profile.
When i turn on target, my controller list only shows keyboard and thrustmaster virtual controller, so i dont get any rudder input at all. When it’s off i can bind toe brakes and rudder just fine.
Do them work on your end ?Bye,

New version can be found in the OP.
3.06 - Added exclusions.
@GreenFrog: See if the new version works out for you.

It works for me now, i had to remove the comment on the line
Configure(&TFRPRudder, MODE_EXCLUDED) ;
in order to get them back .
Thank you.P.S.
the updated link in the OP now contains the BMS 4.32 - Mud.key, i have no problems with the 4.33.key, so i guess it was added by mistake ? -
Thanks for pointing out the keyfile being the wrong version, GreenFrog.
Fixed now.
-
Thank you for the awesome keyfile Mud
Thanks to you setting up my HOTAS Warthog, which arrived today, was just a matter of plug and play.
-
I guess you’ve got it sorted, huh Zeeman?
You’re welcome. Happy flying!
-
Thanks
But now after I could do more torough testing I have noticed, that on the Throttle none of the buttons seems to work.
I tried to turn off anti colission lights - didnt work, I did the same with landing gear - didnt work.
Is there anything I have to do besides copying the keyfile in the config file and the tmc one into the target script file?
-
Most likely your devicesorting.txt in which you need to change the order. That’s an often recurring issue here in this thread
If you post the contents of that file here I can have a look.

{0402044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Joystick - HOTAS Warthog”
{0404044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Throttle - HOTAS Warthog” -
In the \User\Config\ directory of your BMS dir.
-
The entries:
{0402044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Joystick - HOTAS Warthog”
{0404044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Throttle - HOTAS Warthog” -
Hmm, that doesn’t look right. Do you run the script from the TARGET Script Editor, and not the GUI?

Now I did^^
{0402044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Joystick - HOTAS Warthog”
{0404044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Throttle - HOTAS Warthog”
{FFFF044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Thrustmaster Combined”This is what it is looking right now.
-
Okay, getting close.
Move the lower line up like so:
{FFFF044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} "Thrustmaster Combined" {0402044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} "Joystick - HOTAS Warthog" {0404044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} "Throttle - HOTAS Warthog"
And you should be good to go.

Hi, apologies if this was asked but I searched pretty thoroughly and didn’t see it mentioned. Is there code to adjust Cougar MFD backlighting? Referring to the green backlights on the hardware, not the brightness/lighting of in-game MFDs.
I’ve got all the buttons working flawlessly, the lights are just off and I’d like to brighten it up a bit.
Thanks!
-
Ah yes!
They should actually not be turned off, but I forgot to adjust the value in my last version upload.
Anyway, easy to set yourself. There’s two ways:
- Edit the script:
Look for (line 342)
//************************* //*** TM Cougar MFD's *** //************************* ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&LMFD, LED_INTENSITY, 0)); //set left MFD backlight power to desired number (0-255) ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&RMFD, LED_INTENSITY, 0)); //set right MFD backlight power to desired number (0-255)
And change the 0 to any value between 0 and 255. 255 being the brightest setting.
- You can change the lighting without using software by holding down OSB 14 and 15 (so bottom left ones) and while holding those down, use the BRT button to change the brightness up and down.
Br,

Press the bottom 2 left buttons at the same time, and while holding them, press the BRT up and you can adjust the leds.
