      Hello,

When you lock up a target in GMT mode, does it continue to track the movement of that target? The blip looks like its frozen in place when locked so I wondered if it’s still tracking the mover.

Is there a shortcut on the real F16 joystick to switch between GM and GMT, or Snowplow and STP modes? I don’t see the HOTAS benefit if you have to continually fiddle with these modes when searching for moving & non-moving targets.

      Thank you!

Nope, but searching on the radar for ground stuff is going to be heads down anyway, so it can afford to use MFD controls over HOTAS controls.

Pretty sure locking a mover in GMT tracks it correctly. I dont tend to actually take a lock in GMT, I tend to use it for cueing the TGP to the right area.

Using your HOTAS allows you to keep your hands on the stick…that would be one benefit.

That’s what he is asking: is it possible to keep your hands on the stick, or must you continually fiddle with the MFD OSBs when switching modes.
