New NVIDIA drivers

Vsync on, allow you use triple buffering, and use triple buffering is good, isn´t it?
-
Realy I don´t know if it´s good, that is why I ask.
-
FBMS is not on nVidia’s radar AFAIK so there is no reason I know of why new drivers from them would improve FBMS performance at all.

Triple buffering is good. But it is only good with vsynch on. It gives the card a possibility to render vsynched pictures without stutter. But it only works with vsynch: it in itself is not worth much. It adds latency by one picture, so if you feel lagginess, it is better without. Either with then both out without. Matter of taste.

What is the best? Vsync OFF or Vsync ON. My FPS with 296.10 are good at the moment. But what is your recomended setting for any drivers.
Hi Silver,
IMHO Vsync enabled is the best for me anyways. I am using a 55 inch LCD so tearing is downright shredding. But, when I do my testing with Nvidia/game settings, I leave Vsync off until I am happy with the FPS buffer. What I mean by buffer is, I try to gain the most FPS during day 1 of a campaign so that it rarely drops below 60. Sometimes it will dip a little lower but that is ok because when I turn Vsync on I also have triple buffering checked in the config. You will have to sacrifice a little eye candy but BMS still looks fab!!

well the new beta 304.79 changes compared to the 304.48 are:New in 304.79 Drivers:
Adds support for NVIDIA TXAA
NVIDIA TXAA is new film-style anti-aliasing technique designed specifically to reduce temporal aliasing (crawling and flickering in motion) through a combination of hardware AA, custom CG film style AA resolve, and a temporal filter.
The Secret World is the first game to support TXAA (support will be enabled in an upcoming patch)…
TXAA is supported on GeForce GTX 600-series Kepler-based GPUs.
Learn more about TXAA on GeForce.com.New SLI Support
Adds or updates the following SLI profiles:
The Secret World - added
End of Nations - added
Nexuiz (also provided earlier via NVIDIA Update)
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier (also provided earlier via NVIDIA Update)
Tornado Force - added
Tribes: Ascend - updatedKey Fixes
Fixed a compatibility issue with Civilization V and GeForce 400/500 series GPUs
Fixed instances of flickering or missing mouse cursor when hardware cursor is enabled (reported with Aion, World of Warcraft, Eve Online and others).
Fixed instances of very low frame rates in Deus Ex: Human Revolution (DX11).
Fixed an issue that caused a PC reboot instead of a PC shut down.
Fixed an issue that led to a black screen after driver installation.
Power management mode settings now persist across driver overinstalls. So as seen nothing serious… so no need to use them unless u have The Secret World and want to try TXAA…
or SLI for the above games…So latest good ones are the 304.48
Now there are the:
306.02 BETA released 2012.08.27Downloading… Wait for approval… lol the AA team will report back… maybe tomorrow…
Edit: First Release document read tells me there is no significant as of performance but there are other interesting addons and fixes. So don’t hope for much…

Since I use W7 and the last drivers I got some lags sometimes when I use comms for tower and wingman and lags in cockpit buttons and switch. Things I never seen in xp sp3 and old drivers.
Any suggest,please?

Yeap 8xxx and 9xxx series seem to work better with old drivers… I believe they reached their pick and users should ignore this thread. Sorry.

Hopefully tonight I will test them more.Edit: I had an MP flight yesterday night all went sweet even recording with Fraps didn’t notice anything… So they are a GO from me… enjoy them guys…

I have had good performance with the 301.42. For me they seem to have very good stability.
