      ……after setting up BMS.

Was browsing this forum for 3 days now and the setup was a breeze. Only thing that bugged me is the overwriting axis config file after restarting the sim.

I was able to manage my first rampstart without any reference, just to find out that I have to reverse all axis on my hog…😉 but I’ m on a good way so far.

So my question is: Is there a Training syllabus for the new viper pilot? A training campaign, or just th TE? Can anyone refer to a good read about the fighterpilot Training of the USAAF, or vids?

IF, by any means this post does not refer to BMS, pls move it to the ‘free discussion’

      Regards

Videos to get some dirty quick knowledge
Virtual squadrons to get you going on personal and MP flights.

Run the software for the warthog controllers every time before running BMS to prevent your axis from getting porked.

            Thanks TeeSquare.

Today I made my first Soloflight. Rampstart, Taxi, Takeoff and a happy return to Kusan. Well, scratch the last one. At the beginning of the Rampstart my ICP and AUDIO UHF went into Backup mode, and I didnt get out. Ok, switched to VHF , Set Tower frequency and off the ride goes…. Well weather changed rapidly, and I was in a thunderstorm in a blink of an eye.
Well, it is a modern bird, so I want to set ILS frequency, but the ICP didnt let me in. Long Story short, I Managed to Land my new love in the Second approach visually, but no reasonable pilot would do so.

How do I get that ICP out of backup mode? Thx!

Hi, rampstart, taxi, TO and ILS Landing works good in bad weather conditions so far. Able to find the homeplate. Does anyone have any useful hints for navigation in Falcon? Planning a full roundtrip oft the korean peninsular. Appreciated, thx!
