Mission Commander beta release

thanks a lot Falcas, impresive job!!!.
Do you have a kind of draft manual?
I am trying to tunne a campaing and for example:
- No HARMs
- Only AIM 9M
- But after some hours (re-supply I guess), in the squadron appears HARMs, I would like to have re-supply but only of the weapons defined at the starting point of the campaign.
Any ideas about the way to do that in MC o in TACEDIT?
Many thanks a lot in advance.
Cheers.

If you’re dealing with a campaign file then pretty much that can only be accomplished via F4Browse DB edits.

Thanks RAM22, where can I find that program (F4Browse DB)? or it’s only internal code?

BMS comes with its own editor. Have a look at you install \Falcon BMS 4.32\Bin\x86 there you will find a program called Editor.
You can use that to change the database.
However, be warned that changing the database will change your falcon install.Gr Falcas

I just downloaded and tried Mission Commander but I’m running into an error. Every time I open a squadron, and every time I click the arrows to change the squadron patch, I get the following error:
“An error has occurred with reading the imageids.id file! Error: Index was outside the bounds of the array.”
New version released which also fixes this one.

Thanks, it’s a great tool!!

Excuse my ignorance. But will this program work on FreeFalcon 6? I use both versions and I think this program can enhance my game a lot. So, it will work?

Did you try it? Basically it should work.
The only things I can think of is that FF has a different directory structure, result is that MC might not find all the files needed.
FF also doesn’t have a “Launcher.exe” file, so you can’t point to the installation. Creating a fake file will solve this.Gr Falcas

I’m just trying it. I can edit the mission, but when I click fly, my flight appear as cancelled. I lowered the number of vehicles of a enemy batallaion I’m tasked to hit. Can this be the problem?

How can I fo that?

Is this with BMS?
If so, I don’t thinks so.About this

Copy/past your FF exe and rename it.

It works on FF If you make take some files from BMS and use them as Fake files for Mission Commander. Only problem I can found on FreeFalcon, is that If you take for example a T-62 battlaion, and let some of the non-T-62 vehicles they automatically convert into T-62. Not a great problem. It works on BMS without any problem. And is a great program. Thanks for creating it.
P.S. Is there any chance you can create a FF version?

Strato FF version seems to get in the marge as of external programs for it. BMS has overtaken the users and developers so all are leaning over this miracle.
Also asking a BMS member to create something for FF ain’t that politically correct. -

GuldagerThat is very simple, just open the mission from an other theater. The program does everything for you

The thing is that it doesn’t work with this specific theater…. (Europe)

The thing is that it doesn’t work with this specific theater…. (Europe)
What are you trying to mess with in the Europe theater??
What I do is replace whatever I want to work on by renaming the default Korea stuff and moving the specific theater into the base install in it’s place, do whatever work I want to, move it back to it’s correct place and name the default Korea stuff back to it’s original state. That’s what I did when I was testing some stuff for Falcas a few months ago.

If you mean the PMC europe theater… That is correct. As PMC theaters are payware and thus not supported.
Send Snakeman a message that he releases the theaters for free and able to be worked on. Than I can also make it work with all the other software.Gr Falcas
