Flounder's X52 Pro Keyfile/DX Profile for BMS 4.33
-
Heheheheheeeeeeeee…, I have it set up
-
where is the wheel brake
used the no trackir keyfile but there is no wheel brakes
If you used the keyfile code in this post: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?23661-Flounder-s-X52-Pro-Keyfile-DX-Profile-for-BMS-4-33&p=349137&viewfull=1#post349137
The wheel brakes are mapped as Pinky + Second Trigger Detent. It shows in the keyfile code:
….
#==================================================================================
SimDoNothing -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 -2 “========= HOTAS SHIFTED =========”
SimWheelBrakes 256 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1……
Are you having problems with any other shifted functions? Are you trying the shift functions in-game or in the UI? They won’t show properly in the UI and need to be tested/tried in-game.

Hi,
I need help regarding no TIR and 4/8 switch POV. I have tried to search the forum, but it is difficult to build a right search string without getting everything else for this particular issue. Please lead me to the right thread, as I am sure, that it can be me only having this issue with X52 pro
I have installed Flounder’s no TIR (I take the occasion and thank you Flounder and all others for your support) for my son. Although I have TIR, but my son would prefer to fly without. When I first flew the previous Falcon’s like v3, there was only POV. So I need to accept my son’s request. TIR is too much with all the other staff for the beginning.
The issue is that when you change your view and start moving your head in the major direction like i.e. right, your head starts to move and then while doing that you move the hat a little bit more up (middle position in between up and right) then it stops until your hat gets to the up position. Thus this makes the move of the head difficult to operate. Similarly in other directions. You can only move it in the four major directions. On thee ones in between it stops.
I have tried to switch to 8 and back to 4 key pov in the SST, but this those not make any changes in the way it works. I finally changed in the SST from unprogrammed to buttons and mapped in SST all of the directions there with key presses and key releases. It works when all of the 8 keys are programmed. Unfortunately there is a 0,5s delay when you start to move your head. This makes hard, when you want to make small head movements, but it is the best I could get to work it now and I am simply wondering if there is something I can do to improve it.

Not 100% sure this will help, but you can try it pretty easily, I think.
In the original keyfile, find these lines. They should be about 30 line from the bottom, just above the line “SimDoNothing -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 -2 “========= HOTAS SHIFTED =========””:
OTWViewUp 0 -1 -3 0 0x0 -1
SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 1 0x0 -1
OTWViewRight 0 -1 -3 2 0x0 -1
SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 3 0x0 -1
OTWViewDown 0 -1 -3 4 0x0 -1
SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 5 0x0 -1
OTWViewLeft 0 -1 -3 6 0x0 -1
SimDoNothing 0 -1 -3 7 0x0 -1
#=============================Replace them with:
OTWViewUp 0 -1 -3 0 0x0 -1
OTWViewUpRight 0 -1 -3 1 0x0 -1
OTWViewRight 0 -1 -3 2 0x0 -1
OTWViewDownRight 0 -1 -3 3 0x0 -1
OTWViewDown 0 -1 -3 4 0x0 -1
OTWViewDownLeft 0 -1 -3 5 0x0 -1
OTWViewLeft 0 -1 -3 6 0x0 -1
OTWViewUpLeft 0 -1 -3 7 0x0 -1
#=============================You can use Notepad or any plain text editor to copy and paste the above into the original key file. You should NOT have any SST instructions on the POV hat when you try to use/do this.

Thank you Agave_Blue. We were able to implement your proposal on the X52pro and it works fine. Thanks to that you remembered me how to revise the DX buttons, we have made additional changes also. We moved missile step and the stores config from fire B to C and added padlock to fire B. A little bit like beginning of F4 or even F3. And now the combat improved. That is the drawback for not using TIR, but improves the limitations of small monitor view and works great. Now its more, more fun as my son says.

Good evening. Something incomprehensible has happened as I press the pink button, all HOTAS functions stop working. I reinstalled the drivers (version 7.0.53.6) and FALCON 4.33 U5 is still the error (Flounder X52 Pro v5; Flounder X52 Pro v5 - Full; Flounder x52 Pro v5.pr0), I have no idea what the reason is, I tried everything. I am asking for some “golden” suggestions.

Flounder x52 Pro v5.pr0 only.

Only thing I can think is check this: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?23661-Flounder-s-X52-Pro-Keyfile-DX-Profile-for-BMS-4-33&p=347639&viewfull=1#post347639
‘Clutch Mode’ has to de-selected.
Also, in the SST pr0 file, check and see if the pinky switch somehow got set to ‘latched’. If so, change it to ‘fallback’.

That’s how it looks:
-
Looks OK as far as I can tell.
Everything was working OK before? You don’t recall making any change to the keyfile or setup? Adding any new devices (rudders, mfds)?

“…Everything was working OK before? You don’t recall making any change to the keyfile or setup? Adding any new devices (rudders, mfds)?” - I did not do these maneuvers, only the latest NVIDIA drivers. Previously, Your files did not cause any problems.

Really not sure what the issue could be. I don’t think it has anything to do with your BMS install (which you said you’ve reinstalled anyhow) or video drives. It could, I guess, have something to do with the Saitek/Logitech drivers, but I think that is pretty unlikely.
Only thing I would suggest is to remove the Flounder key file in BMS and the Flounder pr0 file from the Saitek folder, re-download them and update the key file and pr0 file from scratch. If you’ve already done that, I’m at a loss.

You were not wrong with Maestro, but I made your suggestion earlier. I will check your files in 4.33 U5, it is installed on the second disk. Good day. On the second disk, your Maestro files do not cause any problems, probably in the registry with x52 Pro drivers something is wrong, I suppose that remains of Logitech drivers. Thanks powerful for your express interest!:yo:

Mr.Agave, I installed the latest X52 Pro Logitech drivers in USB 3.0, reinstalling Falcon and your files “come to life” - VICTORIA. Thanks:drink::yo:!!!

However, failure, “Do not praise the day before sunset.” As I mentioned it was good, now after pressing and releasing Pinkie, this button stays in the active position, it means that all functions only work in displacement, tragedy. Think about the problem, I’ve already exhausted all my ideas.:yield:

If you press ‘pinky’ again, does it go back the unshifted state? If so, see this post: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?18522-X52-Pro-DX-Profile&p=270540&viewfull=1#post270540
If pressing ‘pinky’ goes to the shift state and you cannot un-shift (either by releasing or by another press), check to be sure that the pinky command exists on that button as BOTH as shifted layer command AND as an un-shifted layer command. In this keyfile it should be on button 5 and (virtual) button 261:
SimDoNothing -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 -2 “========= HOTAS UNSHIFTED =========”
SimTriggerFirstDetent 0 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimPickle 1 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
RecenterTrackIR 2 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimMissileStep 3 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
PrettyScreenShot 4 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimHotasPinkyShift 5 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
AFBrakesToggle 6 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimToggleMissileCage 7 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1……
#==================================================================================
SimDoNothing -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 -2 “========= HOTAS SHIFTED =========”
SimWheelBrakes 256 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimEmergencyJettison 257 -1 -2 0 0x0 123
ReloadTrackIR 258 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimCATSwitch 259 -1 -2 0 0x0 115
AFResetTrim 260 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimHotasPinkyShift 261 -1 -2 0 0x0 -1
SimCBEOSB_6L 262 -1 -2 0 0x0 126
SimCBEOSB_8L 263 -1 -2 0 0x0 126……
One command ‘shifts’ the pinky, the other command ‘unshifts’ the pinky. It must be the same command on the same button and is normally 256 “button numbers” apart.
-
If you press “pinky” again, will you undo the state “unshifted”? No, he remains in the Shift state:;;
However, in this HD profile this problem does not exist, but was set in sst / DX:
