Hiding enemy units for multiplayer TEs

I know this may have been previously addressed, but….what is the procedure if any to hide enemy units for a multiplayer TE?
I’ve tried starting the TE and advancing the clock with enemy units on the move. They will dissappear from my 2d map, but when other join in, they can still see the units that are hidden from my 2d map.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

And are you able to hide the transport aircraft/helicopters?

There is a campaign creation document in this forum explaining the airlift.
Take a look at my hotlist IIRC I have a link for it. -
i believe u should advance the clock after the t/o time and then place the enemy units.sometimes it works
