How to change the default weapon racks to adapt them to loads
for example the Eurofighter central station to load AN / AAQ-28 lite
Thanks for help -
Objects folder has a file called BMSrackdat. If you study it and compare it to the callout coming from Sim folder’s acdat files, The method of what is going on will become apparent.
Acdat files in Sim folder have a string of lines labeled hardpoint or something like this that means load outs.
That string of lines can call for action from both the rackdat file , and the BMSrackdat file in th objects folder.
If the hardpoint line in acdat shows a number, I am pretty sure it is calling for data from rackdat file. If it is a phrase like “f4eleft” it is calling for data from BMSrackdat file.
I usually change anything I mess with to use BMSrackdat file even if I have to make my own set from mimicking others.
I do that because I don’t really know what’s going on in rackdat file with all just numbers, I have guesses that have worked but it’s kinda mysterious yet to me. BMSrackdat works really good and is labeled well and easy to track what is happening.
Then all this of course will need to be added to jet in FalconEditor. Remember to leave a spot on the top of the list for guns, even if jet has none. In that case I think you should leave an empty gun.

Here is a pic sequence to illustrate what we did for ef2000 German. I think this is a TomCatz model but not sure. It works on the Brit model as well. They use the same acdat file.

Hi starrats and hope you’re keeping well?
Big thank you as it’s sorted out a lack of targeting pod issue with the EF2K in Ikaros as well.
Cheers mate
