Failed to connect to server 4.32

Hi guys,
No matter what I try, I just can’t connect to my freind’s server in the COMMS-section.
Bandwith is 126, which should be just fine.
Anyone who can help me out? Thanks!
Alan

Dude……you probably want to add 898 to that 126, at least run a minimum 500. Ports/Firewall/Anti-virus check.
Refer to Chapter 7 in the BMS manual.

Is it really a 432 server? 432 and 433 do not mix. Make sure you have same theatre selected. 2 or 3 people do not need massive bw selected. I have had zero issues using 300 in fact especialy if just a TE but do not go on a public server with less than they require you to use which will probably be 500 to 1024. There is no point choosing a high number unless your connection is good enough or you risk big issues.

Do others connect successfully and perform MP missions?

Hi, thanks for the response.
Yes, others can connect to it without any difficulties. I still haven’t found out what the problem may be.
I know that I can’t host servers, because my router is protected, so I can’t just type my IP adress in my browser to get access, but that shouldn’t be a problem with joining servers, as it has never been playing other games/sims online, including Condor, DCS, FSX -
You can’t host, so you don’t have proper port forwarding. Maybe your fried has set g_bHostAllowsDubiousConnections 0
