Works for me
-
@Zakk It’s not that I don’t believe u. Its not between me and u… We both want this clarified. If u r certain ok, but as u saw in our flight that didn’t work, so there is still doubt on my side. Did it worked on the 21th flight?
@Monster here m8 https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?p=164895 with what u say I came to my previous connection scheme of 3 AISPY, one as Both and the other two as their side, that way they can see both sides (red & blue) and the AI.
That way less data travel between clients? Imagine also here not only one AWACS per side.
I got it wrong? -
I’m joking arty It worked but SQServer crashed and everything has stopped.
A 3rd AISPY (+ Falcon 2D Map) should just provide you double contacts, it doesn’t work as server between the other 2 AISPYs, the server is SQServer. Apart from this, RED and BLUE pictures are different in Falcon, so with one more AISPY setted to BOTH and Falcon on blue map, REDs will receive the blue picture etc…
That’s what I understood.
-
You don’t need 3 AISPYs. The post I made was for two different cases, either 1 AISPY for everyone (but limited to which side BMS 2D map is signed on), or 2 AISPYs one for each side.
In the example in the link, each GCI player for every side, runs F4AWACS, AISPY and BMS in the briefing map (joined the multiplayer session depending on their role blue or red). So each side gets the data it should.
-
well in our case with the AMVI there where 2 F4AWACS one blue one red
Both had AISPY and connected blue as blue and Red as Red…
I don;t know about the blue guys but we the Red where able to see only Red contacts…
After that we disconnected F4AWACS and connected as Both… then we could see all. -
Were the guys running AISPY running BMS as well? If not, there is no source that these AISPYs read data from.
-
from Red side yes I believe blue too, Zakk?
-
Yes Falcon was connected as blue client and it worked, but as I said we had a SQServer crash later.
Anyways you could check if you have blue contacs on the Falcon’s map, there could be a little possibility that they were not detected by your radars, for instance if your AWACS was too far.
-
???
AWACS was too far?Using F4AWACS doesnt mean u have to have and an awacs flight in the mission… Having it though is good as Qserver had 2 of 2 crashes so doesnt look stable solution for such flights.
-
As I said, AISPY gets AI contacts from Falcon 2D maps, that’s why a Falcon client is needed on the same computer on which AISPY is running, so no contacts in Falcon = no contacts on F4AWACS

Zakk spare us please… lets get serious… leave all those AWACS XXX (fun fun… where did your mind went???) away and push for a release on EMF… or as I see many Italians on EMF lately I could say that there is a full integration of Balkans in to EMF which will result in another 3-4 years wait?

Kicking the dust off of this thread.
I’ve just run into a little problem and I have absolutely no clue how it’s caused.
This is an image (WIP) I’m trying to get as F4AWACS background…
This is how it looks after inserting it in the Theater…
As you can see, for some unknown reason, I’ve lost all info outside of the South-Korean part.
Note: On the screenshot, the lines are still slightly visible, but this is not the case in F4AWACS.Strange thing: after changing the coastline to a more greenish colour, it IS visible (albeit at lower quality, apparently)…
In case it’s useful: coastline colour code is 1e281d (opacity 30%) in the first picture, and 24ff00 (opacity 3%) in the second.
-
Try to save it as gif first in photoshop and then import it in F4AWACS. This is done because, F4AWACS converts the image internally to 256 paletted color gif, so it might not make the best job possible.

Monster I get a Runtime error 339
Component ‘CrcCtrl.ocx’ or one of its depentencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. -
I get the famous error #9 trying to get objectives data from falcon… any solucion. I’m 2.0.2 and falcon bms update 6 and trying to get the info from a recent save of a recent created campaign

@mppzgz: Not all tac and cam files contain data. Saves of a campaign probably don’t contain objectives, only cam files. You shouldn’t get an error 9 anyway but a message saying that there are no objectives, so it’s a bug. I’ll look it up as soon as possible (I’m on vacation right now so … ).\
@Arty: Try downloading the ocx file from http://sakgiok.gr/Downloads/CrcCtrl.zip
Just copy it in program’s folder or system32. It should work. -

I expected to get the owner info from objectives like air bases at that moment in the campaign.
Maybe there is other way
