Bravo to Ikaros team!
Nice work there guys.
One first remark concerning Ikaros NavAids:
I see a lot of NavAids that sharing the same TACAN channel. This is completely wrong! Unfortunately still at BMS 4.33 we have this limitation that we can’t have more that one station at a specific TACAN channel. Some examples of NO working NavAids:
(023X) Ioannina-Maritsa (Maritsa doesn’t work)
(027X) Kos-Spata El Venizelos (Kos doesn’t work)
(033X) Karpathos-Kozani-Mitilini (Karpathos-Mitilini doesn’t work)
(035X) Tripolis-Tympaki (Tympaki doesn’t work)
(047X) Bandirma-Kefallinia (Bandirma doesn’t work)
(072X) Ataturk-Ohrid (Ataturk doesn’t work)
and some others…The solution here is to spot the NavAids that their channel shared with at least one more NavAid and then give to this station a “free” unique channel.
Of course with this way we stay out of real data, BUT we have funcionality!
Nikos. -
Thanks a lot for that e-HAF. Merry Christmas

One base covered in forest, unfortunately not sure which. I think it is: Marathon. (?)

Thanks guys, kala Kristougenna to you and your loved ones!
All the best apo Germania!

Chania is very nice! Only issue (for AI; but unproblematic for F-16 AI: Building on eastern approach blocks runway left a bit).
Iraklios is covered in trees partially.
PM inbound wrt to texture offer of some high res tex… -
Great to be back on Crete, finally
Small problem with Souda tower comms: The runway 10 is referred to as 01 (maybe an old falcon bug). Also, I had some flickering / disappearing textures when leaving the RW after landing at the very end of the apron.
I love the attention to detail w/r to ground tiles, the lake in Agios Nikolaos is even modelled. I expect the kingfisher birds on the fishing boats there in the next update
Cheers & keep up the good work,
Uwe

Quick AAR praccy TE I threw together in order to test Ikaros on BMS 4.33:

AWACS is available, one KC-10 Extender tracking from east of Chania to Agios Nikolaos and back, a couple of AI flights. Not really refined, but maybe useful if you want to practise AAR.
Cheers, Uwe

In spite of all odds - a quite natural matter of any “new” theather released, thanks a lot to all of you guys for the valuable effort in updating the nice Ikaros.
Best wishes for all and the holidays to come!
With regards,

Well done, and thank you very much!

And deservedly so, it’s a beautiful place
Quick update to the AAR TE: As the local authorities have decided that Sitia airport in the east of the island is going to be demolshed and rebuilt from the ground up, they have granted permission to use it as a live firing range. Some old out-of-fashion soviet gear has also been deployed at the facility to provide additional targets. Be careful, some old Russians filled up on the lovely local “Raki” may get angry at you for destroying their well-loved kit and might direct small arms fire in your general direction
Entry points to Souda (EAST / WEST) have been added as PPTs, same goes for the firing range and for the tanker track, so make sure to load the included data cartridge.
