Downloading patch for Steam

Hi everyone, I’ve bought Falcon 4.0 on Steam, its asking for the CD when I try to run the game, someone on Steams website recommended dowloading 4.33 from here, how do I do this and will it work? I love Falcon 4.0 Ive played it for years on my old system, I also like F22 ADF, is there anyway I can get that?

BMS is not a patch for Falcon 4.0.

Nonetheless you need the original Cd or the exe for the installer to check and to proceed. Depending on what version they sell on steam, this version may work to pass this installer check. So the answer is yes, it may work.
Actually the only reason for this check seems to ensure BMS is beeing seen as an update to Falcon4.
Whether it is technically patching an existing install or creating a new one doesnt matter.The download issue has currently to be solved via PM I guess.

NOTE: Please be aware that based on comments from Steam Users we have been able to identify a launch issue for Falcon 4. In some but not all installations, the game is asking for a nonexistent retail CD. This did not occur in our pre testing of the game. We currently working on a new build that will remove this issue and should be back shortly with the fix. Thanks for your understanding and patience. We are currently working to add some additional goodies available to all Falcon 4 Steam gamers to show our appreciation.
Beyond that, refer to the link shown in the post above…BMS 4.33 is not presently available for download.

Hi, new here. just also downloaded Falcon 4 from steam with the intention of running BMS 4.33, I understand it has been removed temporarily due to licensing issues if Im correct. Just my luck. Any idea when it will be made available again?

I have original f22adf somewhere but not sure how compatible it is with modern rigs.
