Free for all: BVT control panel

Sorry if i missed it, but is this also running on android devices? Thx
Read the initial description, it’s browser based, so if you have a browser on your android, yes

Hi Sting,
That’s a great layout, any chance of updating the download links, they don’t work for me.Thanks
-
Below are two links. The first is to the DATA folder in Touch buddy and the second is my keyfile for BMS. Of course you will need to download the Touch buddy software, I’m currently using version 0.4.1.1, If you don’t want to use my key file you can just update the keys in the Docs\jsv\touchplate.js
I do have an issue with it at the moment. On my android table the browser bar is not auto hiding. I assume its some html that I don’t understand that tells the mobile device to auto hide the browser bar. If you get that working let me know. It used to work fine until a couple of months ago…
EDIT: Ohh and just look at the folders that end with “v” in the docs folder. I was trying to do something clever and it didn’t workout.

Hope this helps.
cheers

Thanks Sting,
I can’t get browser bar to auto hide either, never have done.I am currently on touch buddy 0.4.0 which is working for me at the moment.
Small world moment, I see you are from Toowomba, I have just been watching a video series about the HMAS Toowomba heading off to patrol for pirates.

In the folder Data/Docs/images/ you have panel.png. That’s the one you need to change.
Small note. I am not developing this further as Roccio has made an improved version (YAME64 suite) loosly based on this html/css/js code but with more functionality (like not requiring keystrokes in js but just pointing to your keyfile, and animated switches etc).
Hey Focaldesign:
I was able to edit the .png file. Having a lot of fun with it now. I’m sure I’ll screw it up soon. I downloaded YAME64 suite and I’ll check it out. Not sure yet if that works with and IPad. For now I’m having a little fun with your panel. Was not your intent, but thanks for getting me into the second panel world for Falcon BMS. Next up will be MFD’s once I figure this out.

More then welcome :).
Yame does not work with ipad out of the box. But the combo with the touchdown app from my panel does work. Then just point to yame64 panels folder instead of my folder and done -
Focaldesign:
Here’s a picture of your panel with my modifications. All I did for now was replace the Master Arm and Radar with the Autopilot Alt/Hdg. Works great!!

Android browser bar update.
On my Android tablet, I have been able to make the browser bar hide by using the default Android web browser and enabling the Quick controls setting in Settings, Labs.
This puts a little control panel on the side which auto hides.
Google was my friend and pointed me here.

Hi y’all I’ve tried all the links to download these items here on this thread and it doesn’t work. Do you have another links that work? If not could you y’all please remove these links out of this thread, or lock this thread so we all don’t use these links that are in this thread!..
Thank you -

Thank youHmm, seems Touchdown doesn’t exist anymore. I have found an old version in my backups. Here’s the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vi12c966yycrkgo/TouchDown.zip?dl=0
Dropbox has changed it’s policy on shared folders it seems. First post updated with newly generated urls to v5 to v8.
Do note, this is not under development or maintenance anymore as I have teamed up with Roccio for YAME64 (www.yame64.com) which also includes same logic as this but better (but that part is still under development, focussing on other parts of the software first).
