What are the tools needed to create/edit a campaign ?
-
Hello,
I already have TacEdit and Mission Commander but I can’t find anything to edit the territory of the teams.
I’d like to have something like the brush in the TE Editor of Falcon, but the only thing I can find (in TacEdit -> Campaign -> Map) is way too tiny to be able to precisely draw the zones.I already searched but I can only find theater making tutorials/software, not campaign exclusive ones.

Thank you demer, I already saw this post but I assumed that these were only for theater making (terrain, tiles, objects, airbases etc…)
and honestly I didn’t want to download everything just to find the feature I want because I wasn’t even sure it was in one of them.
But now I suppose it’s in one of them so I’ll do it this afternoon -
Okay can someone point me to the software that can do it please ? I still didn’t manage to make territories.

Campaign was always done with Tacedit until replaced by Mission Commander.
Here is a (even a lttle outdated) howto to understand some basics:

Thanks for answering lazystone, and yeah I searched really hard on TacEdit and Mission Commander and I’ve found a “map editor” on Tacedit, it’s what I need but it’s way too small to be able to precisely “paint” the areas
The brown thing on the right is something I just did to show how big the brush is, which makes it more inaccurate.

No it’s not what you need.
You need to change the owner of the objectives.
and the map you see is the result of correctly doing this and other things.Read on PMC wiki and forums for more info to get an idea how
campaings are done.Cheers,

Oh okay thanks a lot

If you use TacEdit you are making it very hard on yourself.
Open the cam/tac file with MC and go to the Campaign tab->Occupation Map
Than click on “View large MAP” to expand the map.
This feature is only for quick and dirty drawing. So when you are done with that, apply and save. Now go to the Map tab and use the feature “Set Owner Mode”. If you click on an objective now, the owner will be set.
This way you can be a lot faster “drawing” the country you want.

Omg Thanks a lot Falcas !
I have another question, is it possible to change the flags in Teams tab -> Info tab ?
I wish there were a manual for MC because I’d really love to master this wonderful software
