Callbacks just work fine 1 time.. second time they fail?
-
I have a strange issue on a key command…If I enter the game and press “D” or “X”, the HDG wents up or down 5°… if I press a second time, it just makes 1° steps… every other command like D, X, F or C just causes 1° steps… a 5° step I just have by pressing the first command… after this first touch, all others are just 1° steps… what went wrong? Why are buttons “D” and “X” not always 5° steps and “F” and “C” 1°?
I attached the key-File and a screenshot of the file in Kolbes tool…

Hi Ronald,
see BMS manual page 246 -> g_nKnobAccelerationDelta
It is not in the config by default. Default value is 60ms.If you want to change that, just enter a different number in miliseconds or
enter “0”, which disables the acceleration. The callbacks do what they are
supposed to do in this case (by1 or by5). -
Okay, so by adding this line with the value 0 the problem is gone? Thx for information…
Too many new manuals to read :-?
EDIT: Phuk… did not work with that line with value 0… will test with 60
EDIT: 2nd Did also not work with 60…
EDIT: 3rd time… working
-
Well tell us what you did the 3rd time to make it work … else someone else is going to come along and ask the same question.
I know they will ask it anyway as finding the search button is hard but I’m interested

Ah okay, sorry. I copied the code line from Kolbe and did not lock to make it complete… he wrote:
g_nKnobAccelerationDelta
and I added 0 and 60… without success. But then I noticed that all those line have to look like:
set g_nKnobAccelerationDelta 0
A simple “set” was missing…
