Solved. BMS & Helios probelems.
-
Hi Guys,
I have installed BMS 4.32
BMS does not react when I touch the buttons on my touchscreen.
I am using Toto’s profile and key file.
Strange thing is I installed the same software on my laptop, attached the touchscreen and ‘Voila’ it worked out of the box.
I have re-installed Windows 10, installed BMS and Helios but no joy.
It’s driving me crazy.Hope someone can help me out on this.
Regards,
Vulture. -
I have a feeling this is a Win10 problem… is the touchscreen working as a touchscreen outside of Helios?
-
Hi Ice,
Yes, the touchscreen is working outside Helios, it even works within Helios when I touch a button I can see and hear that mouse pointer in BMS perform a click but nothing happens.
btw had the same issue with Window 7 U64.

Hmmm… that sounds like you’re using a different .key file between Helios and BMS. Have you checked to see that this is not the case?
-
yes, both Helios and BMS are using the same keyfile. I am using 2 touchscreens, could that be the problem?
-
Not sure… I’ve yet to try two screens… that’s my next project though!

Problem solved.
Before changing the monitor configuration first change the falcon interface.
@Ice it works using two touchscreens. I am using one for the profile and the other for monitoring my system. If you have a profile which uses 2 screens let me know.

Thanks for letting me know!!
I’ll be integrating my 22" and 24" screens on my next pit. That way, I may be able to “stretch” the front console vertically (I already stretched it horizontally) and relocate the CMDS and landing gear panels on the secondary screen.
