could we have a Sticky for common problems, with the solutions. I just think it would save time searching. ie NWS key binding god knows how many times it has been asked. Yes the binding may well change in future releases.

I have had a problem recently where the sim would get hung up on the exit screen. took me ages to find the solution, but it was quite common a while ago. caused by large ACMI files. I just deleted them and bingo back to normal.

I know the answer to most problems is RTFM.:o

Sub, I agree. My classic example was if you don’t click “reverse” in the UI settings area, your brakes were locked.
I tried something like what you suggest and it went over like the proverbial lead balloon. If we were to make a “look here first” thread, a sticky is definitely the way to go.

And the answer for the people who can’t be bothered to read the manuals is to use the Search box on the forum, or Arty’s hotlist (which is getting quite long these days).

Sadly there are still some people who feel that they should just ask questions, without checking to see if the answer is in their Docs folder, or has already been asked and answered on the forum.
