Krause's BMS 4.32 Tutorials

It’s not the same thing. The “nn” code used in the datalink gets assigned depending on the number of the flight in the package, and has nothing to do with the callsign of the flight.
For example, if we have a package of two two-ship flights, Eagle11 and Viper11, the two aircraft of the first flight get the datalink code 11 and 12, while the other two get 21 and 22. -
Ok, I got it. It is not callsign related, it is sequence related in roster.

Cheers.

not the roster, it’s in the order package elements are listed in the brfng window.

Original post updated with TGP tutorial

HI Krause,
I just watched your latest tutorial on the TGP. Really great stuff! I learned alot. After watching it I went flying and scored several LGB hits which I had never done before in BMS.A couple of uestions please …
-
At one point, my TGP seemed to be stuck behind me and nothing I tried would get it back in front of me. Anyway to reset it to the front?
-
When I change steerpoints, by hitting the ‘S’ key, I see the steerpoint change on my HUD and HSD displays but the TGP does not seem to change and point at the newly selected steerpoint. Shouldn’t the TGP view change to tne currently selected steerpoint if I am not in SP mode?
Thanks again for the really great tutorials. They have made the game so much more enjoyable for me.

1. press tms DOWN, it will snap to whatever is on your FCR. If it is still messed up just switch between steerpoints with the FCR as sensor of interest.
2. The FCR needs to be sensor of interest while switching steerpoints, to change snap the TGP to whats on the FCR switch SOI to TGP and tms-down -
Great videos, just what the doctor ordered for someone coming back to Falcon. Good Stuff!

Some” tips” for the MARK points discussed in the IDM video
The MARK sensor will default to HUD, OFLY, FCR, and TGP depending on your master mode and the sensor that is currently tracking.
DGFT/AA/MSL OVRD ->ICP7-> MARK OFLY
NAV/AG -> ICP7->MARK HUD
AG FCR track->ICP7->MARK FCR
TGP track-> MARK TGPThe MARK steerpoint will become the active steerpoint by pressing M-SEL on the ICP with the MARK page still active.

I have a question. How to zoom in & out when in TGP. In video is said Ctrl + F3 (F4). What should I look for in keyboard settings to find those keys?
