Bonjour Dee-jay! Not at all… Nothing will make me happier than seeing my work been enjoyed by many. Originally I passed all the raw files, with research, cad, textures etc to WaveyDave. I can try to find everything again if necessary. What I wanted is to avoid to share it with everyone and have hundreds or remodded versions and instead try to centralize all the integration efforts. Let me know if you have the files still but from my part you have all permissions.

All we know - I guess - that your pit is not what Nizmo got somewhere. This is why he is banned since years and you do not and my MOD could live.
Our current issue how put your pit into the new 4.34 compatible Korea '80s MOD again. Because are so many Cat lovers I guess they would like to fly especially because of the new IR code and weather effects which make even more fun the '80s environment.

Hi molni! Long time no see… Happy to help in any way I can but I haven’t touched any of the files in sooo long that I don’t feel like I could bring any knowledge at this point. Any modders outhere that are happy to try to incorporate this please get in touch

Back from the dead… Just to point out that the cockpit shown on that video was done by me not Nizmo. Don’t know who he is or why was banned. As to where can the cockpit be obtained… I passed on the files to the dev team years ago… Either they are busy with higher priorities or my work was too amateurish for them to use… Cheers everyone… Happy to see the community healthy and ongoing… In my case two kids have taken away all my sim time. I feel things tend to become even more complicated when there is money involved…I really don’t know what the original issue has been and don’t need to know but I wonder if cash donations is the right way to go.

Hello everyone!

Some of you might already know this thread and project but for the ones that don’t, welcome!

Three years ago I decided to start modelling an F-14D cockpit with the idea of integrating it into BMS. It was a very ambitious project since I didn’t have any skills in modelling or texture creation, but sometimes the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty! My dad was a naval pilot so for me this project also was somehow special since all my passion for naval ops comes from him.

It’s been a blast to go so deep into one area of research, I think I now know more than I would like about the F-14D:). I’ve met some really interesting people on the way, in the BMS community but also outside, and it has been a pleasure not only to work with you but also to share our passion in aviation and flight sims.

Due to real life issues/events (motorbike accident, moving countries, going back to study, getting married…) I haven’t been able to work on the project for 2 years (yikes!) and after the new BMS release and the new life infused into the community I’ve decided to donate my work to BMS in the hope that someone, somehow, will be able to continue it.

I hope the ones interested in this mod will be able to enjoy it soon, but you know, the long wait it’s what makes this kind of projects even more enjoyable at the end!
