BMS 4.33 U1 - Cannot proceed past Mission Schedule screen to 3D world in Windows 10

Well I had found solution and it works for myself. I do not launch the launcher but go straight to Falcon BMS.exe and run it in compatibility mode Win7.
Hope it helps.

Just tried BMS in 32-bit mode and Windows 7 compatibility mode. It works! Yay! Although I didn’t try without compatibility mode. Might not need to enable it.

Do you have a forcefeedback stick or device connected? If so in my hotlist you will find the solution.

Thanks all. Solution didn’t work for me at first, which is why I posted, but today its working fine. Seems the compatibility mode didn’t take until after I restarted. Thanks again!

I have Win10 64bit and my BMS is in C drive. I got BMS to work in 32bit (GeForce to Manage 3D plus run in Win 7 compatibility) but not 64bit. I’ve tried all the usual suggestions (compatibility mode, run as admin, windows display extract, etc) but none of it gets BMS to run in 64bit. Any new ideas?
Cheers

At which point does the sim crash in 64-bit mode? Does it start at all? Does it crash after clicking “takeoff”?

For example, I can select Instant Action, TE or Furball, whatever. No problem with that. But once I click ‘Takeoff’ (or do they call it ‘Commit’? can’t remember), the parachute man comes on but disappears quickly. Then I know it won’t work. Nothing happens. And I have to hit Ctrl Alt Del and end the BMS process.
In 32bit, it works fine. Hit ‘Takeoff’ and the parachute mans comes on and you see the F-16 screen with the progress bar below and it goes to the 3D world. With 64bit, it never goes to the F-16 screen with the progress bar below. It stays stuck at the screen where you hit ‘Takeoff’ and nothing happens.
I think that’s the same problem most ppl face if they can’t get BMS to work in Win 10.
Update: After the usual periodic NVidia driver updates, one fine day, it decided to work in 64bit!

Do you by chance have two video cards installed? If yes, have you tried disabling the other one as suggested in this thread and then running the sim in windowed mode?

I have the same problem.Problem is falcon crashes just before entering loading screen.(When clicked commit or in waiting screen when required time is reached) But way it appears in my circumstance may help developers to understand the problem. I have windows 10 64 bit installed on may laptop. When I first installed 4.33 there was no problem. BMS was recognising my graphics card as AMD Radeon R5 M330 and there were no problems.
When i installed 4.33 u1 (install directory C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1) BMS recognised my graphics card as Intel HD520. Still it wasn’t causing any problems but its a built in graphics card and i want to play it with my dedicated graphics card. I opened up AMD graphic settings and find some performance settings that resulted BMS 4.33u1 to recognise my R5 M330.
After that point i could not manage to start a mission in both 4.33 and 4.33u1. Then i retrieved the changes i made in AMD settings to at least play it with Intel HD520 but it did not start mission again.
During this process i updated both integrated graphics drivers and amd drivers. no result. I think common point of this issue is switching between integrated and dedicated graphics cards.
Intel i5 6200u with HD520 and AMD Radeon R5 M330

Its happening to me too. I have windows 10 and i5 with HD520 and a dedicated card R5 M330. There was no prolem with 4.33 . It was recognizing my R5 M330. Then i installed 4.33u1 and i realised that it doesnot recognize my dedicated card. so in amd settings i have changed some settings and manage to 4.33u1 to recognize my graphics card. after that our problem started. and also it is wierd but now 4.33 does not get to the loading page either. There was no prablem about it before.
I updated both intel and amd processors drivers, also updated bios, tried with 32bit just it does not get into the loading page, stops working at the moment when i click on commit or take off.
I posted with a longer explanation but it did not apper in the forum. I dont know why.
