3DS Max Exporters for BMS

Just as lazystone noted, exporting selected objects is the way I operate as well.
If you are getting increased poly’s, it sounds as if you are somehow copying the model/parts of the model inadvertently.

Since this exporter only supports 2010/2011/2012 and i have 3ds max 2014, would someone help me out with exporting a model for me?

Supports and 2013.
Send it over and I’ll export it for u.Iirc it might work and for 2014 but u might have to manually place the files to the correct paths.

As 3d modeling tools updates and the licensingprocess is different and also the features are progressing rapidly and as the saves only covers 3 versions back its beginning to get outdated. I´m more then aware that all work is free and that its our problem, but please just consider to make a version that works with 2017 and with that secure the future abit. If I knew the magic I would help but unfortunatly I struggle just to make vehicles in 3dsmax so…stupid but persistent, I will have some updates to Falcon one day; ofc in the department of the not so prioritized sections of objects, but it suits my skilllevel

Situation is that my license is expiring and 2013 is no longer up for download. Starting dofs soon on my darling J35 (Just to learn and go thrue every step from first polys to Falcon 3d), but 12 days left on the license and cant renew/no longer supported. Well its up to the gods I guess

One question about the exporter and the x-dof system. There is a checkbox when x-dof selected that says pre-rotated or something like that. How that really works and does? Thanks in advance! -

It does but you need to copy files from %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsmax\2013 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsmax\2014 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg
%userprofile% is an environment variable, no need to replace it with your actual directory.

after rebuilding my complete system, I’ve only have the chance to install 2015 as earliest version.
First: Where is the plugin folder?
Second: How to get the 2013 data from “…\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2013 - 64bit\enu\en-US\plugcfg”
Third a): v2015 is working with the exporter yes/no?
Third b): Is there a chance to get v2014?TIA
