Screen Space Aspect Indicator

Someone had mentioned this to me as helping in a dogfight. I have no idea what it is, any insights?

On your FCR display, there is a little tick mark on the track symbols that points in the direction that the bogey is flying relative to you. This is the aspect indication.

Trouble is - taking your eyes off the bogey to look at it during a real dogfight. Very helpful on ingress to intercept, though.
