First of all thanks for your fantastic work.
My BMS 4.33.0 works fine. I tried to do the new installation U1+U2 ……24h working couldn’t manage to get the string in the Falcon UI (4.33.2)
In case I have to deinstall and reinstall which “files” do I have to keep to get my HOTAS Warthog working without setting up everything new ?
      Thanks for your support
      Cheers
      Bogey

do you have the base install, that is update 1. download update 2 extract it to the falcon setup folder, for me this is in c:/ users/desktop/setup, its the one with the setup application. it should auto update from the setup. don’t extract it to c:/setup folder that doesn’t have the setup icon.

        I7, 12700K 3.6 GHZ 16GB WIN11 PRO NVIDEA 3060TI, WARTHOG TRACK IR.

If you don’t have U1 installed there are some points to bare in mind.

U1 is a complete install due to the change of copywrite etc. with Tommo. To install this you MUST have Falcon4 INSTALLED on you machine. A minimum install is OK for this. Once you have U1 installed then you can upgrade to U2 as detailed by sub101 above.

If for some reason you can’t find your Falcon4 disc you can get a copy at a very reasonable price through either GoG or Steam (search the forums for details).

Hope this helps get you flying.

Finally….I did it…the problem was an old registry entry.
But to find the right path was not easy:

So if you ever have this issue follow those steps:

            Regedit : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node/ Benchmark Sims/Falcon BMS 4.33 U1

            Keep on rocking

                @Tiffy:

Once you have U1 installed then you can upgrade to U2 as detailed by sub101 above.

No reason to install U1 then U2. Having the setup already configured with U2 means you can do that on a single install and be done with it. Works just fine like the old 4.32. Did this a day after U2 dropped.

I think I did something wrong. I downloaded U2 but when I double clicked on it it appeared in my Delunge window and asked me to add it. I didn’t get the manage updates window but it is in my Data in the U1 setup folder. It’s not a BSF file though, just the Delunge tear drop icon in the file column. I’ve flown a couple of Instant Action games then checked the keyfiles to see if any corrections took. SIMTEFCMDFULL is still SIMTEFCDMFULL, so it didn’t take. How can I download the update and not have it go straight to Delunge? Thanks for any help you can provide. Take care….eddie
