@AMOU-LILYETTO 8266 is for the 3ddb_builder when you re-build the 3ddb. It goes in your 3ddb_builder/textures folder.

I have another question. The installation instructions say to put an empty texture folder, but the texture I found in the BMS is not empty. Where do I need to create a new texture file?JanHas helped me get my installation sorted out:
The Textures folder you created should be in the same directory as the Parents and Textures folders.
As for changing the suffix, no. Just put 8266.bmp into the Textures folder. And that should be the only file in that folder.
I believe when you run Build_DB.bat, the Textures and the other folders and files get compressed into:
KoreaObj.HDR
KoreaObj.LOD
KoreaObj.Tex.These you copy/ paste into Falcon BMS 4.36\Data\TerrData\Objects

I assume you are updating your F-16 models to meet Falcon BMS 4.37 version.
You commented you would correct your F-16 intake shape when next Falcon BMS patch is released or soon.
I wonder if you are correcting your F-16 intake shape this time. -

However, Whenever BMS team releases major updates, JamHas F-16 models have compatibility issues.
Therefore, JanHas updates his models to fix compatibility issues.
I think LV7 means the models are compatible with BMS 4.37 not with 4.36.
There might be compatibility issue between LV7 and BMS 4.36 Balkans which is created based on BMS 4.36.
In my opinion, you should find LV6 models and install them on BMS 4.36 Balkans. -
