Adding LANTIRN pods to later block F-16's

Hi all,
Can anyone advise me how to add LANTIRN pods to the later F-16’s, i.e. Blk 42,50,52 and any of JANHAS’s remodelled Vipers as they all use the SNIPER pod which I know is accurate but I would like to use the FLIR function of LANTIRN in night and bad weather conditions with these later block Vipers.

Not possible at the moment. Pods are part of the model. You have to make a choice, either use the standard BMS F-16 with the Lantirn or use my model with the SniperXR’s.

OK no problem thanks Jan I would always prefer your models any day so i’ll just use NVG’s from now on either that or eat a s**t load of carrots!!!

maybe you can do it via the editor or editing the acdata file, but you would have to try it out and make sure you have a backup

There is a section in Jan’s f-16.be.dat file where it says LANTIRN=0 so possibly changing this to 1 and putting in some weight and drag parameters will do the trick but I am not sure I want to muck about with this in Notepad++ at all as there maybe other factors involved, maybe one of you computer whizzkids can take a look some time and let me know. Jan’s new reworked models are truly works of art and don’t really need to be fiddled about with by idiots like me.
