AC-130 gunship spooky is properly spooked

ok so i’m trying to build a nice TE with a gunship in the balkans theatre, but everytime that AC-130 gets to it’s push point… it turns right bight around and goes straight RTB ignoring any and all other waypoints.
tried searching the forums but i’m guessing no one tried planning with a gunship in a TE and made a post about it so i’m wondering if anyone has seen anything like this. so far i’ve tried removing the push point all together and changed that steerpoint to nav nav (i did not mess with the default flightplan other than that and designed my supporting flights around it’s flightplan.)
any ideas appreciated or should i just ditch the gunship?

In the stock BMS DB, it does not have any weapons assigned in the SSD. Have you assigned it weapons??
It has onboard weapons though.
Also, what are you trying to have it do?
I just made a quick TE and ran it in the 2D and it ran all the way through a CAS mission??

2d and 3d testing give widely different outcomes so i never test 2d really. 3d with time accell
but i’m having it interdict, i’ve gone into the weapons loadout screen and spammed the plus button on both selectable weapons so they are green at least (200 of each) so it has a loadout as well… i’ll try a 2d run and see if makes it to the target then, but it would be useless because i need it to go to the target in the 3d. i’ll let you know tomorrow
