What am i doing wrong?

I left the campaign (powder keg) in auto mode and just flew my missions. All good until the friendly troops stopped at Novi Sad to protect a bridge there, i mean all of them, others stopped far in the south-west.
Falcon squadrons have huge fragging gaps and keep getting sweep mission after sweep mission although the enemy air force is long defeated and ground forces down to 10% strength at best. Now i am trying to manage the ground forces myself and sent them to Belgrade to capture it but now they just sit there idling. I am already fragging my own squadron to get more interesting ground missions in order to reduce the enemy’s ground forces even further. I wonder if the enemy has 0 ground forces left is a winning condition or is conquering Belgrade or some other cities mandatory for victory? I know it’s either Belgrade or a few other cities i can’t remember. Some airfields are being ignored by friendly troops because they can’t capture them due to routing issues. I am lost at campaign day 16. -

It used to be that these were the victory conditions for Powder Keg
Control ALL of: Bijeljina City, Vlasenica, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Stepojevac, Sabac, Mionica
or
Control ALL of: Beograd, Beograd South, Beograd East, Beograd West
It’s possible it’s been changed, these were from AF.

The only victory conditions are to hold the required cities. So you could destroy every last Red battalion, but unless you get your pixeltruppen on the objectives the campaign cannot be won.

OMG, in “Under Siege” the Yugoslavian Forces surrendered after 3 days (auto fragging).
