Reds taking off from the sea

Hi guys.
Has the latest update addressed the issue where the reds would take off (or rather appear mid air) from the sea?

Around day 2 - the reds aircraft carrier arrives.

I sink the fleet straight away. All ships sunk by multiple waves of attacking jets.

The fleet is gone and is off the map.

Good flight - “high five-ing”… well myself I guess.

Start of Day 3 reds appear in the air from the same spot. But no red Naval fleet.

Nothing on the blue side map. But when I go into the red side map - i can see an airport/airfield in the sea.

I think I have version 3.1. (need to check) but certainly not the latest file.

Wondered if this has been addressed?

Should say though - awesome campaign.

The carrier does not show up until Day 3!!

Are you sure you aren’t just sinking the OSA’s before it arrives? They are there at the beginning of the campaign(s).

Sorry for my late reply.

I may be off with my days. But I am sure I am currently at day 3 - 2am. And Im sure it was sunk on day 2. But maybe I am wrong. I will check.

But I am definitely sinking the aircraft carrier and its support ships. Certainly a nice juicy target on my TGP!!

But yeah, as it stands, there is a airfield symbol on the map in the sea if you join the red side UI.

It happened on a previous version of Balkans as well. The problem carried over to this version.

I just wondered if anyone else had experienced it in the latest version.

Hi there.
Yes. Just to confirm. Red Naval fleet - including the aircraft carrier appeared on day 2. It was destroyed on that day as well. Within hours of appearing.

Just to clarify my last. The RED mystery airbase appears in the sea as an airbase to choose when you click on the save game. Right where the naval fleet was before i sank the lot.

If you click on it and join the reds, there are flights scheduled. When you fly in game (blue side), there is no enemy naval fleet.

So the reds appear in the air.

I wasnt going to bother saying anything because I appreciate I am not using the latest version. But then I thought better of it as this information may be of some use to you in the future.

Knowing me, I am probably the only one to ever get this issue.

I must admit, I have been very efficient with my planning and have made quite a bit of progress on the ground. I pounced on the red naval fleet as soon as the aircraft carrier appeared! no mercy!!!

I have scheduled a cycle of barcaps to cover the area every 30 minutes or so.
So I will complete this version and download the latest and start over.

One of the best campaigns ive flown so far though. Tops!
