KEYSPEECH PROFILES- FOR ALL CALLSIGNS!!!!
-
Correction. I have tried most all the voice command programs and have found Voice Attack to be the most flexible and feature-rich. VA has the ability to play a sound file during the execution of each command, so I have programmed my spoken commands to play a mic click at the end of each command.
-
FWIW, Keyspeech does have the ability to play a confirmation beep or even say the command back to you in computer voice. Not sure if you can edit the confirmation sound…
That being said, I haven’t seen anybody have the realism and sheer number of options that JC’s profiles bring for any other software.

To be honest I have not tried Voice Attack.
For me the key feature that made me choose keyspeech over vac or shoot, is the accuracy slider and the ability to reduce the false positives when flying online.
I don’t know if you can change the beep sound in KS, but for sure that is a feature that is pretty easy to implement. Maybe you can “formally” request it to the Dev.
Besides, it can be useful to fly offline, but if you use IVC, that mic effect is already available.

Single player has a mic click without IVC IIRC LOL.

Hey jcenzano
Hy folks,
Sorry to bother with problems…
Downloaded Keyspeech, downloaded your voice commands - impoted them accordingly, I can see the list in the Voice command manager… Set up a keycombo to toggle activation of keyspeech. Works fine, as I can hear"Keyspeech ON /OFF" on my speakers…
I tested i.ex. on ground with “tower say QNH” - no result…
1.) do I have to train those commands? If yes, where can I do that?
2.) how can I verify outside of BMS, wether the commands work? Any chance to see that in Keyspeak??
Got a germen keyboard and german Win10 language selected - is this the problem?
Do I have to activate Win speech recognition ??
Any other program missing??Thanks

First of all, you don’t bother at all. And actually you help people who can have the same problem in the future. That’s is one of the main functions of these forums [emoji106]
I don’t know how this work on W10.
Maybe the Dev can tell us for sure, bit I think that the only thing that you need is Windows speech recognition for English.I don’t know if that is included in your German OS. I have an English Windows 7, and unfortunately I am not aware what other versions of Windows include.
You can verify that KS works placing the cursor on any program t in which you can type, I.e. notepad.
Then say a phrase (I always say “magic request picture”)
If q 1 is typed, then the program works.
There are differences about having a key for KS activation and a PTT(push to transmit)
To play falcon most people use a PTT, which will turn ks listening mode while it is depressed and will return to sby mode when released.
I can’t run the program here, do I am not 100% sure, but IIRC, one thing is to have Keyspeech on, and some other is that ks is actually listening.
You can not train these sentences. For better recognition, you have to run the standard windows speech recognition training sessions. You don’t train Keyspeech, you train the windows built in speech recognition engine.
Hope this helps

Well, jcenzano,
it didn’t help too much because - YOU WERE RIGHT - the problem seems to be the MISSING english version of the Windows voice recognition program
I did install the US English language version and also downloaded and installed “MSSpeech_SR_en-US_TELE.msi” which I thought to be the english version of the voice recognition program…. but… it does not work!
When starting the PC it just gives me an error message saying the language selected (english) is not compatible with the recognition language and one should correct it in the setup under “advanced setup”Now see the picture…
The is no other option besides that of the Microsoft Speech Recognizer ( German )…. ???
Somebody nows how to install the complete english recognition tool ???
Thanks
-
Changing the language version is only possible if you use Enterprise or Ultimate Edition. In other versions the Speech Recognizer Language is tied to the systemlanguage.

I got this message from support:
Speech Recognition is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
You can access quickly to the Windows speech recognition engine by clicking on the Speech Profile manager menu item (KeySpeech icontray):
KeySpeech will select the checked*one in the recognition profiles list :

V3.0 released with updated profiles released including new BMS 4.33 radio commands and fixing minor errors.
Links updated on first post
http://ul.to/6u682p19Profiles are backwards compatible with 4.32, since added commands in BMS 4.33 where compatible with the existing ones. No command has be deleted, since outdated phrases do not interfere with the new ones.
Enjoy…

Thank you very much, Chipi. Awesome work.

Hi All,
I am having the same issue related by another user. When I say “Chalice request picture” for example, my system switch to Desktop.
Looks like Windows speech is understanding this as a command to open or do something on Desktop.
Can anyone help?Thanks,

RogerioHi Rogerio:
Does it happen with all the commands or only with the “request picture” one?
Could you give a little bit more information about your rig, OS, software that you are running in the background that could make this happen?
I am not able to replicate the bug, but I think it could be caused because the keystrokes commanded by Keyspeech trigger some other action on some other program. A little bit of a guess…

Hi Jcenzano,
Thanks for the answer. Here are my comments.
This also happens with other voice commands, for example “request vector to nearest threat”. But its rare, more common is request picture. I think the problem is not with the profiles or Keyspeech (that is a wonderful software in my opinion). I believe my problem is with Windows Speech. Because when it switches to Desktop, a webbrowser is sometimes opened and it goes to Speech commands help,
I am running W10, English language. I did the Speech training several times and it keeps having issues to understand what I speak sometimes. English is not my mother language, but I am not so bad :). I work for an American company and have conf. calls with them at least once per week. They said my pronounce is very good :).
When I play BMS, besides it I keep the Windows Speech, Keyspeech and FaceTracknoIR open (I have Delan Clip and it work very well with FaceTracknoIR).
Besides that I have some application for other games, like Steam, Horizon (for The Witcher 3), Blizzard, Antivirus Avast.
I can give a try and disable all unused software, but again, I think my problem lies on Windows Speech do not understanding what I said.Best Regards,
Rogerio -
I use W7, so what I tell you might not be correct door W10, bit Ist worth the try.
You don’t need to have Windows speech running along Keyspeech, at least on W7.
In fact, I think that could be the reason why you are getting pop-up windows.
Try opening Keyspeech only. It uses Windows voice recognition engine, but it does not need the windows program running.Your other question about not being understood, try to lower the accuracy slider. You can find it if you right click on the Keyspeech tray icon, on the Keyspeech settings tab.
I have mine fixed to 92%. To play offline it is not a big deal, but when playing online and talking to humans, this setting should be as high as practical, to avoid “false positives”.
Try lowering it first and increasing it step by step until you are satisfied with the recognition accuracy.

Thanks Jcenzano,
I will try your tips and let you know the results.

First, let me say I love the profile the you did.
But for the life of me I can’t figure out how to get this thing to work.
I set up the hotkey. The BMS profile appears in the profile screen. Then went to the manager in start using it and verify my hotkey works? There was a save icon, a new icon, and a print icon. I did not see an option to load or edit an existing profile.
I’m assuming that I am suppose to use the BMS Full key file. I forgot, one last question. Is there a issue with english and windows 7?
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks,
Blain -

HI Blain,
You dont need to open the profile manager.
To load the proper profile, you must unzip the file downloaded from the server.
Profiles can be loaded here-> http://ul.to/6u682p19 Latest version 3.0-20-APR-2016
Installation - The rar file includes three sets of identical profiles, one for QWERTZ german keyboards, one for STD QWERTY keyboards and one for AZERTY keyboards. Just copy all the profiles from the appilcable folder (GERMAN, STD or AZERTY) to the “Profile Folder” in the KEYSPEECH installation folder. You must see something like this in your Keyspeech\Profile folder.
Then you right-click on the keyspeech tray icon and select “settings” all the profiles will be there for you.
As you can see I have the avenger 11 profile loaded.
as for Windows 7, it depends on which version you have. You need it the English voice recognition installed in order for Keyspeech to work properly. I know that for example, all Spanish W7 versions incorporated the english voice recognition engine, as well as the Spanish one, but IIRC German W7 included it only on the enterprise and the ultimate editions, not on the home one.
You should check if english VR is included in your W7 install.
Hope it helps

Key speech isn’t working in the game.
I’m sure I’m missing something basic, since I’m completely new to this speech stuff. I have key speech loaded and enabled. I’m using the trial version. I have the bms 4.33 profile loaded up, and if needed I can switch to all of those call signs. I have it on listen always for now, just trying to get it to work. I have it on enable voice activation, and when I look at the mic screen and talk, it works, the green bar gets filled up.
Yet in the game I cannot call the tower or anything by voice. I can do it with the keyboard, so something is wrong.
Any idea what I am missing?
Finally, should I go with another program like Livrot’s? What do most of you guys use? All I want to do for now is to use voice commands just like a pilot would in real life when talking to the tower, wingmen, awacs, etc. In the summer I hope to get into multiplayer games and be able to talk to other players too. I do not want to use my voice for F-16 commands, since that is not done in real life. Trying to keep it accurate, and fun!
