RE: Look what the mailman brought this morning !!!!
I remember the exact time when you open the box and discover that the cougar is the worst piece of shit ever built as far as stick mechanical movement is concerned
Mod to a force sensor is mandatory
Already done with another cougar i have. This one will be put away for my retirement….

RE: Cougar Throttle Hall Effect Potentiometer - Cubpilot Reincarnated!
I know this is an old thread. I have just retired my 15 or more year old Cougar and purchased a Warthog. I have always wanted to do the Hall Effect upgrade but didn’t want to in any way alter the original product. I realize after looking at your images I just might be able to pull it off without chopping it up.
and thats the beauty of this mod

RE: Cougar TQS can it be used with Warthog Joystick..
My Warthog manual states that the Cougar’s stick is backwards compatible . . . You can mount it to the Warthog and lose button-19 only. Does this sound correct?

RE: TM Cougar & Warthog Serial Numbers: Lets see yours
Currently have two cougars and a warthog. The first cougar I have has been packed away and never used after installing the Uber2 NXT with hall sensors in the stick. And Cub pilots HS1 mod in the throttle.

my current setup for BMS is a cougar TQS with TUSBA R2 and a warthog stick
Sorry no pics of the other cougar because I’m just not pulling it out of its box -
RE: Using the warthog stick and cougar throttle
Yes, this does work (and allows you to still use Foxy…and/or TARGET?) - I think you also need to remove the stick grip from the Cougar if I recall…I used to do this before I got my TUSBA R2. Still highly recommend the TUSBA!
+1 for the TUSBA R2

RE: CH Rudder Pedal Pro Toe Brake Set Up in BMW
In the BMS Setup UI make sure your controller is set to Joystick - Hotas Warthog
Then go to advanced, then flight control and set the CH pedals like this.
This is how mine are setup. I hope it works for you.
