Hi folks!
Some news for you:
My best regards!
Hi everyone
After a long time of no news, I’m posting some pics to show you the progress so far. Not a big deal, but it’s something.
The main fuselage is done, so as the wings main structure. Working on the windshields now, as you can see.
Hope you all enjoy. More news A.S.A.P.
My best regards!
Hi Nil and everybody else
Yeah, I’ve been working on it and will bring some news for you A.S.A.P.
I’m sorry for not posting anything recently, you know, day-by-day duties are taking too much time, but it’s moving forward, slowly but forward.
My best regards!
For a long time have you been my reference, and it feels stronger each day! Thank you for your hard work and effort, Jan! You’re a Master!
I found interesting the approach you used for the gun section. I used a different one for that on my f-16 model, though. Actually, I made the fuselage section without the cannon nacele; then I detached the cannon nacele area from the fuselage and modelled it on the left side, using more polys to making it smoother and not distorting the original area. It worked fine for me so far, just gotta see how it’ll work when integrated on the main airframe. It’s non-published material yet, but when it’s ready to go, I’ll share it with you if you’re interested on it.
Oh, please don’t misunderstand me, I’m not criticizing what you’ve done at all; I’m just commenting two different approaches for the same situation and how I found it interesting, as I observed it as a modeller apprentice always trying to learn from the work you guys publish here.
Thanks for the kind words regarding the Bear WIP!
By the way, awesome job on the big cat! I’m sure the final result will be fantastic and I’m looking forward to it! Carry on, pal!
Looking forward to seeing both our models meet in-sim

USN F-14s retired, Bears still in business, Baby.
Keep on it, looks amazing!
Looking forward to it as well, my friend!
I’ll love to see those encounters! By the way, fantastic job with the Tomcat! It’s my favorite aircraft ever and you’re doing and awesome job on it! Carry on!
Hi folks
I’ve been working on the Bear and now I bring some news to you:
The work on the model goes on. More news asap.
Best regards!
Hi folks
As I said before, I redrawed some things from scratch and now I show you the results. Although it may look a step back, 'cause some things are missing comparing to the first pics I posted here, I’m much more satisfied now. So, from this point on, we’ll see some progress.
Here’s the thing:
One more time, sorry for not delivering as fast as everybody (including myself) would like me to, but the project is alive and I’ll bring more news ASAP.
Best regards.
Hi gents
I’m sorry for not posting any news recently, I’m being quite busy in RL; I was also unsatisfied with the results I was getting so I restarted drawing some issues from scratch. Progress has been made though; soon I’ll have some news and pics for you all.
Thanks for the understanding.
Best regards.
Hi guys
I’m sorry I’m not bringing many news on the Tu-95 very often, as you know the other day-by-day stuff, specially work, aren’t giving me too much time to invest on the projects recently, but I tell you the thing is going on, you can be sure about that.
A little update to you - many tweaks done on the nose section, refuel probe and lower nose radome:
Hope you all enjoy, more news coming soon!
Cheers
Hi folks
A little update to you:
There are still many tweaks to be done, but the nose is slowly getting its shape.
Hope you enjoy it!
Best regards!
Here’s Arrimus 3D modelling page:

Oh, so do you use spline modelling? It is very interesting for me.I just tried box modelling
If I give an advice for you.Try to set up your reference pic like this, because it looks like very ugly quality now not an HQ image.
Thanks Repvez! I’m gonna check it out!
Actually, I use splines, turn them into editable polys and then weld them. It’s being very effective so far; that’s how I’m achieving those very precise shapes
Getting it from boxes also work, but it gives you a lot of extra work. After watching Arrimus videos, I just gave up on getting it from boxes. I remember sending you his youtube page in a PM a while ago, in which he teaches lots of good techniques, but I’m gonna post it here to you again (and to everybody else, I realy reccomend you cheching it out, he teaches from the basics to very advanced techniques and it’s being very helpful to me).
Here’s a little progress from this morning:
Best regards!
An updated C-17A model will be also very nice! i saw an good model in openfalcon a few years ago….
is already worked on
Lucky me I didn’t pick that one, 'cause I was thinking about making it, once the C-5 is already being done by Gudule… I realy wanted to make a big transporter or bomber… but the Bear is the call now:

Actually it doesn’t mean I’ll not work on the Galaxy or even on the F-16, I’ll keep working on them, but the priorities (and the intentions) being changed. I’ll bring you some news on the bear soon.
Best regards.
Hi folks
The stage for the Bear is already done and I’ve also started setting the first splines, as you can see on the pic following:
I’ll keep you updated as new things come out from it.
Cheers,
Dear friend Jan
You know, you’ve always been my source of inspiration! Long ago, when I first decided I would learn 3d modelling, it was by looking at your fantastic work and wondering “I wish I could do something as awesome as that”, ever since the first mod you released. One day, maybe, I can come a little closer to the master.
Long live your inspiration and excellent quality work, Jan! As everybody, I can’t wait to fly that beauty and get even more inspired from it to build my own things!
Well, i don’t want to cut in your work mate… but this plane is almost done… I didn’t already posted because i hadn’t finish everything and i prefer to show finished 3D model
Radium told this to you on this post : https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?25626-Personal-Project-F-16-all-versions&p=364096&viewfull=1#post364096Sorry
Oh man… I just forgot about that… I’m sorry Gudule, my bad!
Well, let’s play with the Bear then…
Well, he IS sharpening his nails, so, button line, its more important to improve his skills for our hobby growth than another model war…
BTW the overall shape is just perfect.
Thanks for the support Raptor. It seems that you, and you only, got the spirit here. And there’s what comes next:

Good evening everybody.
After a long time pondering, I finally made my pick, the C-5. Everything ready to start; I’ll bring something to you ASAP.
Best regards.
Hi guys
The progress is a little slower recently, as my vacation is over, so less time to work on the project, but I’m still working on it.
So, a little update to you:
