well i had the problem stated on p158 post #1575 and tried everything… but that reset did it for me…
Same issue. Reset does not resolve it for me.

Wife making dinner and asks for something out the fridge. I reply “2”!
Thanks so much! I think I finally get it!
I have a question regarding the mode select knob. I am having trouble understanding the over ride modes and what they are for. Is there any reference, or can someone explain a typical say, AG mission, and how you would use the modes? I’d assume being in AA to hit BVR targets before fence in, (is that at the IP or before?), then once there, switch to AG? At the moment, I twiddle the knob until I can get the AG radar working without a clue to what I am actually doing!
Thanks - AC
Hi Tazz.
I am a bit like yourself. Just coming back after many years away. Just grabbed an X52 Pro, and enjoying re-familiarising myself with the viper. I have never flown online. Back in the day, my internet was crap, but a lot better these days. I am in Oz, so time zone’s won’t be too much of an issue if you want to try to get a flight in. Just don’t expect too much! I am still learning how to use my hotas, let alone how to use the f16 systems! Those theatres you mention sound interesting. Where do you get them from?
Cheers - AC
Loading the *.pr0 file did the trick. The new file location is: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Logitech\X52 Professional

*** UPDATE ***
I finally managed to upgrade to 4.33 U3 with a lot of manual effort - no matter what folder I selected, the setup would not run, nor would the updates end up in the correct spot, but that’s another story, I guess. Anyway, the upshot is, that my AlphaCharlie call sign works just fine on U3.
Thanks - AC
Firstly, apologies - I know this thread is old, but my X52 pro only arrived yesterday, and it’s partially working. I can load the profile in BMS, but the path to the saitek part does not exist. I am using win 10 home 64 and the latest saitek drivers as at yesterday. When I right click the icon in the system tray, the only option there is “clear”. Also, with this profile, (non TIR version), how do I move the radar cursor? Does this function rely on having the profile loaded via the saitek software?
Thanks - AC
SOLVED.
It was just that particular callsign, (AlphaCharlie), which is 12 chars, so quite possibly the issue mentioned in the sticky.
Thanks for the help.
AC
Logbook profiles are determined by the callsign name. The NEW button always creates a callsign “Viper”. Viper should not be used but instead left as a blank template. Creating a new logbook should be done by taking the Viper logbook and renaming it as desired. Then press the NEW button to create another starter Viper. The logbook list should be all the callsigns you use plus a blank Viper.
Do you mean copy and rename in the file system, or in the sim?
Thanks - AC
