Problem solved. I deleted the contents of the acmi folder and the debrief file. Then it functioned normally.

RE: Korea 2012 for BMS 4.33U1
I’m having an issue with rolling fire campaign, Korea 2012. Bms hangs at the ‘leaving aircraft stand by…’ screen. It doesn’t matter if I’m exiting a TE, instant action, campaign, or dog fight. It always hangs there. I looked thru this post and couldn’t find any bug like this. Thanks in advance for any help!

RE: Please help another new pilot !!
I can send you my TM profile and keyfile if you like.
I use the Target GUI to program the stick instead of using the script editor.
I am starting to learn the programming and can see the advantages with using it.
But my profile is spot on as far as the stick is concerned… as far as I can tell.
And the throttle is set to what I like but since it is not what is in the F-16 it is a little different.
But it should be a good starting point for you.
There are no issues with device sorting or anything like that.I don’t know about your FOV problem.

RE: How to Idle-detent on the TM warthog?
Thank you stubbies, frederf, and terminator! I will try all of these solutions. Although with regards to setting the detent in the falcon setup screen. My throttle does not register past the physical detent on the throttle. So if I set the detent alittle above the bottom of the graphic wont the engine shut down if I pull the throttle back to the physical detent but not over?

RE: How to Idle-detent on the TM warthog?
I used the Target GUI to make it work. I think it’s close to what it should be but not to sure. But it does work. I set the Alt i comand with a delay of .5 sec. Just enough time so you get the throttle over the detent and a little past idle before you here the ‘tick’ that you here when the key press.is made. It works but not sure if it’s correct. Starts the engine though. And shuts it down when pulled back over the detent.

RE: Free up grade to win 10 only few days left, should i ?
If it’s married to the motherboard then the free version will become invalid as soon as you swap the mb out. Sounds like a waste of time to me if that is true. I remember reading that if you are upgrading from retail the the free Win10 retains those same rights so why they marry it to the mb?
I did a windows 10 upgrade on an Hp computer , the motherboard went bad shortly after. So i then upgraded the mobo, cpu, and ram. Then did a fresh windows 10 install, replaced just the partion and everything worked like before. I had to use the windows 7 product key to validate it but it all worked. I also have windows 10 on my rig and no issues with BMS.

RE: DX
I use TARGET GUI to program my warthog and I can get everything working as it should as far as the stick is concerned. The throttle has air breaks, radar range, radar azimuth, idle detent, coms, missile uncage, MRM and dogfight override, steerpoints, cursor enable, TGP zoom. and others.
You have to edit the keyfile a bit but nothing to drastic. I do not have any hat used as POV but I believe this is easily managed in TARGET. -
RE: How to program GLANCE FORWARD and CHECK SIX in T.A.R.G.E.T sofware?
If you use the target GUI any keystroke that needs to be assigned a hold action such as a trim function you need to reassign the keystroke to a single key. For some reason you can’t use a key combination like shift+T for a hold action. Use the keystroke editor in the docs/key files & imput folder to make the necessary changes.

RE: Afterburner detent advice
I use the detent for engine start and stop and use the external sound of the engine to know when the afterburner is on.
I can start and shut the engine down by pushing / pulling the throttle over the detent.
I didn’t like having to hit the idle detent button on the keyboard to start or shut down the engine. -
RE: Script or target GUI?
yes you can use a shifted layer or separate layers it is laid down in the manual how to do it. You have 3 layers Upper Middle and Down. within each layer you can use a shifted layer aswell if you like. I have used all 3 layers, but not needed a shifted layer. It needs a little tweaking but it works quite well. ie a spring return toggle switch could have JFS switch in (lower) landing gear Middle. Trim reset upper.
Ah… yes, I see that in the Target manual.
Looks like I still have a RTFM problem!
Been flying Falcon since the 3.0 days and you would think I would have learned to RTFM by now!
Thanks sub101 I will look into this. -
RE: Looking help for my Wartohg:(
If you are using the Target GUI to program make sure that if you are using a button that has to be held to function such as a pov comand to look up, where you have to hold to keep looking up and release to stop or in this case to snap back to forward you need to use a single button keystroke. Combinations like ‘shift+C’ will not work. You will need to modify the keystroke to a single key like just ‘C’ with no modifier. I’m not sure this is what your problem is but i had the same thing happen with other functions like the trim function. I think the default key commands are ‘shift+arrow keys’ but using that keystroke with the Target GUI made it stick and the trim wwould go all the way in the direction i pressed and stay there.

RE: Script or target GUI?
Thanks badger! Most helpful! I don’t often fire an aim 120 maddog but it can be useful… in getting a court-martial! But it has saved my arse a time or two as well.
sub101 can you use a shited layer using the target gui? Or do you have to use script? I was under the impression that you could only achieve this with using script. If you can do it with using the gui i would like to know how to do it. I don’t need much more than what i have programmed, it would be nice to add some non-essential comands to the stick and throttle.

RE: Script or target GUI?
I was wondering the same thing. With the target gui I can get everything to work the way it should… I think… The only thing I can’t get working is “cursor enable”. I used to be able to shoot an AIM-120 “maddog” by holding it in and it doesn’t work any more. Going to have to RTFM to see if something changed… It takes some tweaking of the keyfile to get things to function properly. Thanks to Kolbe for his awesome keyfile editor! But I think for those such as myself who are not as familiar with script and how it works the gui can give you all that you need. I do not use any ‘shifted commands’ or a ‘second layer’ of commands like I used to with my old X45 and I don’t think that option exists within the target gui anyway.

RE: Trim - one press and full adjustment!
I have found if you are using TM Warthog with the target software you have to remap the key stroke to a non-combo key and give it a hold camand within the target software to get it to function properly. I don’t know if this will work fir your x-55 but it might be worth a try.
