Do you have any entries showing up in the Incomming Msg. List in the Server program. Such as
if not check the Android App Log from the Menu LOG in the App to get further information whats going wrong
Thanks but no none incoming.
Tons of java null pointer exceptions to bitmaps (over 50?) in the log file
I tried in the app to send an email of the log but it crashed.
I have a rooted Teclast T20 Android Tablet.
Only permission falconmfd has in apps is storage.
are your IP address in the same domain?
i.e. it only works for me if they are both 111.222.333.xxx
(111, 222, 333 and not the actual numbers, but both server and client might need to be the same - or it may be a specific network thing)
Yes they are the same
from memory it is like $5.
you only choose to buy the button box option.
if you buy it then as a test download my evochron template (first one) to see how it works.
ok some button suggestions great
lets see if we get some more first.
The server program has no data in the input window if I push any app buttons even though running as admin.
Basically server can communicate with app but app cannot communicate with server.
Believe it is likely to be a windows permissions issue (but I’m running admin) or firewall (but I let it through my windows firewall as a private network). Any ideas?
Ok that is something I should have tried first before giving up, thanks.
I don’t know but I experienced something similar if I play in the daytime on a sunny day because of light coming around the edges of the window blinds.
I solved it by angling the trackir head away from the light source by about 20 degrees and moving the trackir slightly to the opposite side of the angling. So that it is angled towards me a bit.
Simdashboard is for car games (unlike Roccat Power Grid there is no lag) but there is an option to use as a button box (very cheap).

It is to control games with a virtual keyboard on your android device.
I am a complete Falcon beginner so do not know if it is useful or not.
I made these 3 screens below for Evochron Legacy.
I can make some for BMS if anyone wants it. Or let me know if you think it’s not a good idea
Just let me know what you want and what is the out of the box keyboard command for it.
I wonder if joy2key is an option? If it is it would be DEAD SIMPLE for anyone to use with I believe the ability to share the setups.
I note it has deadzones since version 5.7
I use it for many things (VPinball - zero delay circuit with home made box with leaf and arcade buttons, VirtualOn - warthog and t16000, Evochron Legacy button box - another zero delay circuit board) as buttons/switches but have not tested the gradual input of a joystick.
Not sure it even has that ability so I will test tonight
Just thinking aloud here - Even if it didn’t have that axis functionality it could be used for everything else so then once a single setup was shared ONLY the axis stuff would need to be mapped? I am intrigued by the possibility seeing as I have little faith in the TARGET software continuing to work (I have another post on this topic elsewhere).
I tested all the above Flow put up.
I put a shortcut to system32/joy.cpl (something like that) on the desktop to easily test.
Anyway I have no errors in the event viewer.
Instead what I have is that after running the target script the first time it doesn’t work. The joy.cpl shows:
So I stop it and run it again and it all works.
What bothers is me is this is what happened with the TARGET GUI software then at some point it stopped working (a lot of testing - hundreds of times - over a number of weeks).
Is the same thing going to happen with the TARGET Script software?
I originally emailed support at thrustmaster but they did not answer.
As it seems to be working every second time I will just use it until it stops altogether.
Good to know there is an alternative out there when that happens.
