Some news, I modified the front mapping and put a new base texture on it prior to the more detailed overlays. Next step is to keep mapping and texturing other parts of the plane.

RE: Untitled
Some ongoing developments, I’m correcting some old mapping issues we had with Radium. I also remodeled the airbrakes to a more accurate and fine shape. Next steps will be to ensure that all the mapping is properly updated. After what I will pursue the work started by Radium on the texture.
Cheers

RE: Untitled
Hello,
Thank you for your interest on the Mirage F1. As Radium said the development was stopped for quite some time now. Nevertheless, I worked on it recently to correct some of the issues encountered. I expect to give you some news in the following weeks. The current version is a CR for the cockpit and the external model.
Converting the external model to a CT will be straightforward but much work is needed for the cockpit conversion.I plan to finally release the external model of the F1 for the next update. As a working cockpit is much more complicated and I need experience with that, I cant give a precise timeline.
Cheers,

Hey Manos,
Nice work on the model optimisation. Is it possible for you to show a picture of your optimised mesh ?

Hotas warthog issue
Hello there !
I’m using a Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog and for some time now, I encounter an issue with my Stick mapping in BMS.
I have a “Target” script where my stick is bind to keyboard keys. But when I’m checking my bindings in BMS (SETUP/CONTROLLERS) some “OSB-XX” controls are superimposed to the controls I’ve set in target….
Example : when I’use the pickle button, BMS controllers sees at the same time “Spacebar->Pickle” and “DX button -> OSB-16”… So in the sim whenever I use the pickle or another hotas button with the same issue, it activates the OSB buttons in the sims which gets my MFD pages quite messy…
Any ideas about how to solve it guy’s ?

RE: JAS-39 Gripen
Okay, I was asking because I saw the FFD tab selected on your 3DSMax so I was wondering about it. Thank you for your answer.
I understand your struggle by coming from a parametrized CAD software ahah, but you seem to be doing well on Max now ! -
RE: JAS-39 Gripen
Hey, thank you for this Gripen, I like this plane. Just a technical question, you’re using FFD to modify the model mesh ?

Thank you all for your comments !
For those who are wondering, yes I’m planning to animate the cargo doors (at least the front door, the rear door will depends on the poly budget).Regards,

Lockheed C5-Galaxy
Hello everyone,
For some time now I’ve been working on a new project which is the Lockheed C5-Galaxy. I thought the actual one was a bit edgy so I’ve prepared a whole new model for our favorite sim
You can see the actual state of the project in the pictures below.
As you can notice, a lot of work remain to get the beast done but I’m confident to obtain a first exportable version by Christmas.
Best regards,
Gudule

RE: Untitled
Hey there, last months have been quite busy… But I’m back on 3d modelling now, have to finish some other BMS projects first. The F1 will need special developments so we’re waiting for the moment.
Have a nice day,

RE: Untitled
Excellent news!
Don’t you have a screen of the cockpit?
Thank you!!!
I’ve posted a picture of the pit page 20, we’ll show more of it soon

RE: C-5 Galaxy
Well, i don’t want to cut in your work mate… but this plane is almost done… I didn’t already posted because i hadn’t finish everything and i prefer to show finished 3D model
Radium told this to you on this post : https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?25626-Personal-Project-F-16-all-versions&p=364096&viewfull=1#post364096Sorry

RE: Untitled
All these DOF are done in 3dsMax, indeed the red line indicate the rotation axis and the green arrows symbolize the kind of movement (Translation, rotation).
In order to create DOF you can use in falcon you have to work on 3dsMax and download the falcon SDK plugin
The yellow cirle is a tool of 3dsMax used to navigate in the viewport. It haven’t any relation with the DOF.Regards, Gudule
