@Mar:
For some reason I thought I was having trouble with 127.0.0.1 earlier. Hmmm. Well anyway, again, IPv4 (not your internet IP) works when connecting to your self-hosted IVC server, as well as 127.0.0.1, and localhost.
I’ve only ever used 127.0.0.1 when hosting and have never had a problem with IVC that way.
@Mar:
One of those does have to be entered in the IVC address when hosting.
When hosting yes you cannot leave it blank if you are going to use IVC. The blank tip was for people connecting to a host not for those hosting. 🙂
